Actually, I kinda see where Patrick Stewart was coming from now re Corden's distracting presence he's there but constantly looking off into the distance like he's reading an auto queue or watching the floor manager or clock or something? Definitely there in body but not in mind , also he's just Uber annoying during this routine. This trick is pretty basic, not Dynamo's normal standard at all , I've seen him doing it on several TV shows .

You can tell by his reactions after his balancing trick. Its all for the TV ratings ofcourse. It is just such a shame that with You Tube etc, people just have to try and ruin the entertainment by exposing, or trying to expose, his methods. Even if it is a simple trick, there is still mastery involved in performingthem, if that makes sense

Yeah, I'd buy that. At 4:46 it looks as though he's really concentrating on disconnecting the rod from the nail.
