Great speakers, ive had a pair with the matching stands for 8 years now and love them.Enjoy bud. To get the best out of them pull them forward away from the wall and out of the corners.
@@pwrestoration ummm, no...rear ported speekers should be away from the wall otherwise it muddys the bass, thats what the foam is for, to block the ports for when they are too close to walls, doing that though you loose bass. Tweeters should be ear level at listening position. Have a read of the instructions that came with them bud...some good advice in there.
Nice little speakers. Their Q50i's are supposed to be good too. I recently bought a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze 200's in white, with a pale grey front, and magnetic speaker grilles. I prefer floor standers tbh. They look and sound awesome, much better than the MA Bronze BX5's, which I also bought, then sold. I do run mine with a pair of active subs though, as they form part of my AV setup. But the mids and highs from the MA's, and the soundstage and separation are awesome.
I too prefer floorstanders however I've gone from a house with a separate dining room to more open plan. I think the wife preferred it when all my stuff was tucked away!
I'd like them to reply to my emails to be honest, I'm looking for more information on my speakers. They were (from what I can work out) made in house around 2002. Unfortunately they don't like replying!
Haha sorry I couldn't get clear shooting with moving house. I'm working on the filmography but the room was a mess. It's a Ribble Sportive Carbon / Full Ultegra / Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels etc, made in England!
I have a pair and I can agree with your comments, I have had them loaned out to a friend who is also impressed with them. A great little speaker.

Ah will do, with them being rear ported I thought they loved being near walls?
