(Also, you guys are actually pretty generous with spoilers! Nothing really messed up with my experience so far, so thanks for that!) I'll mostly say some things about my journey so far with bosses and how much joy this game is bringing to me!: -The first boss was kinda of hard? Had to heal up every 2 turns, though. -The next boss is the Wight Knight, I believe? This is actually the most messed up one, I guess. First, I completely miss the location you are supposed to fight the Knight, so I ended up going to Zere (getting some much-needed better equipment) and..Brigadoom..the place I was supposed to go after the fight. In my mind, I was supposed to confront the Wight Knight THERE, not in some random beach. But anyway, I clear all of the Dungeon before fighting the actual Knight and this made the two boss fights pretty easy. I did, however, learned way more about the plot. -The next one is that monster at the jar, right? Gods how it gave me trouble.. He buffed and debuffed the hell out of him and my team. If I won anything that day, it was because of pure luck. I wasn't prepared at all for that fight, but I somehow got so into the game that my head went to thinking about the npc's suffering while I think if it's better to go back and restore my MP, just like how the first thing I did at that town was try to find how to solve the problem. -Now's time for Jack-of-All-Trades, right? He gave me as much trouble as that Jar Monster, but he also taught me about how important it is to prepare for battles. I would say that, in the end of the day, I won because of strategy alone, but the odds weren't beautiful. -With my lesson learned, I prepare for the battle I was fearing ever since the beginning of the game...the Whale. I make some..estrange adjustments like giving the single MP Restoring item to the...Gladiator. By the way, I haven't really talked about my party, have I? Well, there's the MC who, while I tried Warrior for a bit, have always been a Minstrel, a pole wielding priest who is actually pretty tanky, a glass-canon martial artist with gauntlets, good'ol mage wielding staffs and the newcomer gladiator. Anyway, even the estrange adjustments saved lives at the end, as it allowed to make the most of scenarios where I could't do much. My main strategy was using the MC and Priest for support and the other two as item support and damage dealers. A couple of good buffs, heals, tense ups and the random Coup of Grace at the last turn and BAM! One of the most satisfying fights I ever had in a video game. Nothing was injust, nothing was babysitting, the fight was clean. If you look at it, you would feel like it was an easy fight, and it was. But it was only because of my own prowess.
