I really hope they make the Fire Red 5s as close to the OGs as possible, especially hoping they finally get the toe box shape correct. One thing I would like to see them change though is to make the collar portion of the shoe out of genuine leather instead of synthetic faux leather that’s not as durable and tends to yellow and crack with age.

Your 1990 jordan 5 reds are cracking on a deadstock pair or is it used? Curious if it is deadstock how it got so bad. Are the materials that crappy over time or was it not kept in optimal temperature? Whats the best way to store sneakers for decades?
Yes, they are deadstock. I didn't store them at a specific temperature, which may have helped. I am not 100% sure what will help. I know sometimes putting them in ziplock bags can help with silica packs in the box. But don't know how well it works.
How likely do you think it is for Jordan brand to actually release a shoe once it’s been scrapped like what do they do with pairs that were already in production
I REALLY REALLY hope they have the Jordan 5s toe cap figured out for these fan favorite colorways. Or at least go back to the 2010s style of toe cap at the very least. Whatever they've been doing recently, where its all thin and extra low cut looks so cheap and BAD! Have only bought the ama maniér Dawn 5 since they started doing them this way

Well, typically it’s scrapped before it goes into production. At that point, they would release the pairs at outlets
