Imo, the worst thing that happened on the set of Friday the 13th was using a real snake during one scene and actually cutting it in half while the owner of the snake stood there and cried, unaware that they were going to be killing it. Really sad to read about.

I absolutely DESPISE how John Landis got off with basically a slap on the wrist. It honestly grosses me out that a killer directed my favourite movie just three years prior (The blues brothers). This is why I’m thankful to learn the art of separating the art from the artist, what he did was terrible but I enjoy learning about this stuff. Thanks for uploading all of them in something I can binge! Sorry about my little rant lol
I love An American Werewolf in London, had no idea Landis directed The Blues Brothers as well! Still love both movies but they were hard to watch after learning about The Twilight Zone accident.
No you’re good, you nailed it. It’s not just the helicopter, but he also paid those kids under the table and had them work long hours against California’s labor laws for children. If he wasn’t guilty of manslaughter, he should’ve been guilty of going against SAG rules. And turns out, Landis’s son is also not a great person too. He’s been accused of SAing women and much more
@allys744 I remember there were even talks of Landis' son doing a remake of American Werewolf which admittedly i was excited about at first. Upon hearing about the allegations, it doesn't seem likely and he's seemed to have disappeared
Thankfully it’s easier with movies because they take tons of people to make, it’s not like say, music where the art is essentially the artist themselves
The Noah’s Ark film accident is a bit painfully ironic because the people preaching the story of God are the same people who would stop at nothing to achieve their own goals, even at the expense of others.
The amount of preventable accidents throughout the history of film is so frustrating and I truly don’t understand why these people just don’t do their literal jobs. You want to do all these crazy stunts for your film? Then you need to go through the various safety protocols for the cast and crew. Also, for water stunts, I feel like using swimmers - and specifically synchronized swimmers - because we go through training that makes us able to be underwater for longer than normal while being physically active at the same time. I know of a girl that was able to swim multiple 25s (single laps) underwater without ever having to come up for air 😳 1:38:26 It’s kinda crazy that an accident on a previous set contributed to one almost happening on another; Like a chain of unfortunate events. Not to mention the very alarming amount of negligence regarding the diving equipment
If I was a director, and an actor thanked me for a role and shortly after died, I would not say what happened with such pride as John Landis did. I would've broken down, think about it, they were grateful and essentially your negligence killed them, not to mention two children. I think the wildest thing about the Back to the Future segment wasn't the accident, but it was something else unmentioned. Cheryl Wheeler, the stuntwoman who suffered from the fatal accident, died in 2020 alongside her husband as they were reportedly in a shootout with her ex-husband. Both her and her husband have set up cameras outside her ex-husband's house and was even rumored to have tried hiring someone to kill him.

McDowell definitely suffered, but just like with Vincent D'Onofrio Kubrick made his career with the role, it's that fine line between genius and insanity
You most definitely are not lazy with your research. This video should show the comprehensive effort you put into both going the extra mile and also for being so cohesive with your explanations. Seriously shoutout to you for doing these tragedies justice and telling the tales thoroughly and properly 🙏🏻🫶
i always hear how wwe is fake. so are movies, all im saying here its not movies or wrestling, its entertainment. at least with wwe they couldn’t just drown someone during a episode of raw and get away with it. learning what i did about vince mcmahon, ain’t no fuckin way some of these directors aren’t just as bad or worse, we just don’t know it.
A "professionally trained" Lion does not exist, even if your raise a Cub from birth, it is still wild. Felines are some of the hardest animals to domesticate, and some would even say that house cats are only partially domesticated.
Clearly felines aren't hard to domesticate when they are probably #2 on the list of top domesticated animals. But okay. And what makes them "partially" domesticated? That's not even a real phrase. You're either domesticated, or you aren't. Theres no inbetween.
John Landis is evil asf. I wouldn’t even call that an accident… that’s called negligent homicide. He KNEW that flying that helicopter that close could kill those poor children and that poor man if something went wrong but he did it any way because he wanted a cool little shot? Disgusting
2:55:56 loved these videos but i couldn’t help but laugh at how you pronounced newfoundland 😂 it’s pronounced new-fn-land we aren’t a new finland lol!!!
2:07:50 as someone in the aviation industry it is very common for people to hop in and out of a helicopter while its running. However, we are DRILLED about how to completely avoid the tail boom of the helicopter when it is running. In most helicopters, the tail rotor is almost invisible when its running. You would think it would be obvious to see but it surprisingly isn’t. This is coming from someone who gets to comes in close proximity to running helicopters on a regular basis
I have a question. When watching the part about Transformers 3 and the extra Gabby who got injured in 2010 due to a malfunction of a towing strap snapping off on her car and causing injury to her brain... You said that it was very difficult to find actual evidence of this crash but I'm assuming you meant to include this actual footage... And yet it is only a black or blank empty space. The time stamp to this placement of the crash video is at 1:17:30. If you knew that this was going to happen then I apologize if I sound redundant... I just was really interested into how the crash took place and was confused that you are showing a blank screen but also directing viewers to look at this part of the screen... When nothing is there. Could you please elaborate or edit it out? Again I don't mean any disrespect. I'm not going to thumbs down or report this video for any reason because I think you did a good job for being a young person who has a great passion for movies and it's true that Hollywood doesn't value people based on their hard work or sacrifice to make a production successful .. they value only stardom and intact reputations... Which after all the never ending scandals of sexual assault or abuse .. I strongly believe Hollywood will fade out of existence... And then the new form of movie magic and stardom will give way to the You Tube generation of content providers. So keep doing what you doing and thanks for any insight on what I was supposed to see during the one hour and seventeen minute movie Mark. Many blessings. 🙌🤙🤜🤛
I had to remove it to avoid monetization issues I did have it in the original video. And its in the intro but for some reason youtubes automation system detected it so i had to cut it I mustve forgot to put text there though cus i usually do to let people know it was purposeful
I thought I heard somewhere that John Wayne was an extra on Noah's Ark and was actually part of the flood scene. Obviously he was fairly young at the time, but its so odd to think we could've lost out on a big star if he passed during that (if this fact is true, I can't be sure)
Another really disturbing detail about the Twilight Movie incident is in the take where the helicopter crashes, if you slow it down frame by frame you can see the decapitated heads of Vic and Michael being violently ejected upwards. It’s not really clear in the clip at 28:45, although you can see one of the heads in the upper part of the screen briefly for a single frame, but there are other angles of the accident on the internet that are much more graphic. It’s absolutely chilling.
Best way to ask for help on set is say. " help actually like out of the movie help as I'm in danger" that way they know it's serious as your breaking character unless your heads underwater or strangulation cuase then it's night night.
Idk if this scene was actually real but there was a kung fu movie called "Enter the Game Of Death" .(it's a horrible rip off of the original Game of Death btw) There was this scene where the main character was fighting an opponent who uses snakes as weapons and also uses a snake fighting style. During the fight, the actor of the snake fighter bit one of his snake's head off, spits it out and tries to spray the blood all over the main character. Then he uses the snake's body as some sort of whip against the main character. There isn't much information about the cast or movie so we don't know if the snake was real or not. But still, it looked real and it was disturbing asl.
In Texas Chainsaw Massacre '74, the dinner scene where the grandpa cuts Sally's hand was real, because the fake blood / tube was malfunctioning, and they got frustrated. So her reaction and scream was real. Also near the end of the movie, nubbins get his face against the hot pavement, it actually burnt his flesh, as it was a hot summer in Texas... (Also the chickens in the small cages were real, and some of the bones in the house were also real)
You missed the movie how the West was won in the train scene where the logs break loose the chains the stuntman was injured who was the husband of Lily of the monsters and he was seriously injured ending up causing his marriage to fail even though she supported him and it was John Wayne who made her do McClintock and make sure her pay covered the medical expenses because the film crew or the production company or whoever wouldn't pay his medical bills
Can't really call most of these accidents, since a lot of them were very much intentional due to severe negligence from movie directors who did not give a sh*t
I usually don't comment on someone else's video monologue of the movie, The Twilight Zone: The Movie, but when you mentioned Vic Morrow's death, you said that's one actor's death for this movie!? But that's not totally accurate! There were actually 3 actors that were killed on-set! The 2 child actors that actor Vic Morrow had to carry across a stream of water, for an action shot, were all killed by decapitation!
How about In F13 part 2 when Ginny hit Jason (Steve dash) with a machete. It didn’t go as planned and Dash went to the hospital with a nasty wound to the hand/arm. In Jason Lives the directors wife nearly got a spear for real when Jason shoved it thru that beetles windshield and the glass redirected the spears path
I didn’t know about the roger Moore db5 scene it looked good in the shot but didn’t know that. Wow, I mean maybe the bond movies should have sued them for using this car, then it wouldn’t event happen, but first time roger Moore drive a db5 never in the bond movies. But thanks for the stunt I’m sorry that had to happen for that. And I wish the director had karma come to him.

I love these 1 - 3 hour videos ❤
McDowell definitely suffered, but just like with Vincent D'Onofrio Kubrick made his career with the role, it's that fine line between genius and insanity
thank you for this video❤
this video was the best video I’ve watched while drawing. 17/10 this video was absolutely amazing
Awesome content!
thanks!
Its crazy how much you've grown
You most definitely are not lazy with your research. This video should show the comprehensive effort you put into both going the extra mile and also for being so cohesive with your explanations. Seriously shoutout to you for doing these tragedies justice and telling the tales thoroughly and properly 🙏🏻🫶
Absolute banger video!! Thankyou:)
i always hear how wwe is fake. so are movies, all im saying here its not movies or wrestling, its entertainment. at least with wwe they couldn’t just drown someone during a episode of raw and get away with it. learning what i did about vince mcmahon, ain’t no fuckin way some of these directors aren’t just as bad or worse, we just don’t know it.
Dude great video. Thanks a lot. Instant sub. Have a nice day!
The Twilight Zone one is just sad :(
So Gabriella got a 18 million dollar pay day?? Good for her. That was wild
John Landis is evil asf. I wouldn’t even call that an accident… that’s called negligent homicide. He KNEW that flying that helicopter that close could kill those poor children and that poor man if something went wrong but he did it any way because he wanted a cool little shot? Disgusting
It’s been nice seeing how you’ve grown and changed over the course of making this series. Same with your facial hair. 🤣
How did you get this info ??? Excellent video !!
I'm not asleep! I'm loving this!!!
❤😃❤😃❤😃
2:55:56 loved these videos but i couldn’t help but laugh at how you pronounced newfoundland 😂 it’s pronounced new-fn-land we aren’t a new finland lol!!!
Your awesome bro!! Keep up the vids 👍
ACTUALLY ACTUALLY ACTUALLY ACTUALLY ACTUALLY ACTUALLY
Lol Jackie Chan suffered A LOT of injuries, he’s legendary for being injured.
I think I recall that he started as Bruce Lees stunt double….
Think John Landis is evil? Don't forget the producer, Kathleen Kennedy.
"Always two there are, no more, no less. A master and an apprentice"

Stanley Kubrick, Basically did psychological abuse to shelley duvall. She nearly had a breakdown.
@@OUTTA-TYME88ppl try to sweep that under the rug to honor his legacy 😂
I had to remove it to avoid monetization issues
I did have it in the original video. And its in the intro but for some reason youtubes automation system detected it so i had to cut it
I mustve forgot to put text there though cus i usually do to let people know it was purposeful
wake up babe YourEverydayTheorist just posted
I thought I heard somewhere that John Wayne was an extra on Noah's Ark and was actually part of the flood scene. Obviously he was fairly young at the time, but its so odd to think we could've lost out on a big star if he passed during that (if this fact is true, I can't be sure)
Thank you for an awesome video!
Michael Fox? Bro, it's Michael J. Fox. Always been.
Great work on this video
Michael J Fox, man. Come on.
Thanks theorist daddy for the long vid
W!!! I love this vid
THE GOATTTTTT
Omg hey snook, I love your vids cool to find out you also watch one of my fav UA-camrs
45:19 they use audio from the movie “the train” I think
35:43 a baseball pitcher does not get a running start, they pitch off a mound. thought wed know this by now 😭😭😭
Another really disturbing detail about the Twilight Movie incident is in the take where the helicopter crashes, if you slow it down frame by frame you can see the decapitated heads of Vic and Michael being violently ejected upwards. It’s not really clear in the clip at 28:45, although you can see one of the heads in the upper part of the screen briefly for a single frame, but there are other angles of the accident on the internet that are much more graphic. It’s absolutely chilling.
Bro. What was that first song. I kinda need it. Aaah. Found it in the description. I’m assuming: Hjortron - Bomull.
Best way to ask for help on set is say. " help actually like out of the movie help as I'm in danger" that way they know it's serious as your breaking character unless your heads underwater or strangulation cuase then it's night night.
that’s why safe words exist
John Landis' son is a monster, too. Max.
the twilight zone one always stuck with me ever since i first learned about it. super fucking upsetting
holy fuck this was in the movie? The only one I saw?? I think i actually remember this fucking scene when i was like 6 years old holy shit/.
let's gooooooooo ive been waiting for this
It’s Rod Serling, NOT Rod Sterling.
i was thinking about being a actor..
This is insane
Kicked him a little too hard meanwhile he breaks ribs
Surpised out of all of these the Wizard of Oz wasnt mentioned(granted im still just going theough the timestamps)
Anyone else see a black screen when he tried showing us a video for the transformers accident at 1:17:48
When being hanged I would try to do the time out sign with my hands lol
Call me naive but I was hoping for a little bit more video in between the ad breks
16:14 is that beanie from omega mart?
Kubrick was definitely a psycho.
The lo-fi beats background music coupled with the lack of enthusiasm in your delivery had me tuning out
Can't really call most of these accidents, since a lot of them were very much intentional due to severe negligence from movie directors who did not give a sh*t
Bro's been cooking!
He talked about the children as well and (viewer discretion) showed the footage of all 3 deaths
Does Malcolm McDowell have vision problems because of that scene?
