I have run out of adjectives to describe David....he sings every song with such passion and sensitivity that he makes you not only hear every word but you feel and believe every word to be right and true. Best singer in the world. His tone, range and power are unmeasured and without comparison.
David singing love songs to his Savior is the best thing ever.

I'm right there Alicia !! I have always been deeply philosophical about life and the larger meaning of it, in this vast universe. I am very spiritual, but have rejected religious dogma, probably because most churches have rejected me as a gay man. However, David voice lights up every fiber of my being and I have never felt so connected with the divine creator, who we can name God or otherwise. He voice makes me cry like nothing else.
David lives what he sings and you are appreciated for your honest reactions- one of his greatest gifts, is the ability to evoke our motions because of his honest love and portrayal of Christ

Another great reaction. David's voice is soothing and calming, we listen to David when we drive and our autistic son listens to David to help calm him down when he's in a meltdown. David and my son Logan have a wonderful friendship, David makes him feel loved and important to him and it shows on their faces when they see each other.
SUCH a great testimony!! (I heard myself yell out to no one in particular right now, "Preach, Jamie--preach it, Girl!!!" Hahaha!!) I've always loved to watch just HOW much David especially adores children of all ages. They have a special place in his heart as those of us who, like you, have been able to go to concerts and Barn Bashes get to witness this first hand. As we've all said, David doesn't just talk the talk......he walks the walk.
I am totally in love with the rifts and runs that he does in this song.. This arrangement and his story line with the message of Jesus' love, !saving me breathless!!!

What you are feeling is the spirit and love of God. He loves each one of us. There is more to be experienced and you can have it in your heart and life but you have to pursue it, Let the Lord lead you. I have listened to David for a while and in person and I absolutely love him. Many songs make me fall on my knees and pray and worship. I hope to go to one of his Barn Bash concerts one day. I pray the Lord will meet your every need.
David puts all his soul and emotions into every song he sings. I could listen to him 24 hours a day.

Lyle, as a fellow Phelps phan, I love to hear your reactions as they mirror what we phans feel about David. You have a great sense of humor too. You are correct about wanting a weekly/daily dose of David's music and voice. To me he is God's vessel of comfort and encouragement wrapped up in that fabulous voice.

Did you just say (type...haha) weekly/daily dose? Most days for me it is minutely as in seconds before I am on to yet another of David's songs ❤💕😊 I also love Lyle's reactions as they are so sincere and he often makes observations I have missed.
I love David Phelps voice. When you play these reaction videos, many times it's the first time that I'm hearing it also. It is always a treat.

Thanks for another great reaction video! We can tell you have been "Phelpsed"! We know what you mean when you say it gets you emotional when he sings from the heart. Go one step further and watch him sing the songs he "wrote from his heart"! May I suggest that in the weeks to come, react to these videos of David singing these songs he wrote, either by himself or with another awesome songwriter: "Gentle Savior", "Agnus Dei", "Fly Again", "The Singer" (Which some say show his love of the music of Queen!), "Legacy of Love", and my all-time fave "Virtuoso" (which he recorded an upbeat band version and then a slower unplugged version). These are all on UA-cam and will keep you busy for the next few weeks!

After seeing David at an exceptionally wonderful concert a couple of years back, I told him that his voice brought the Father right down to us. I truly believe his concerts are a spiritual experience.

I still follow you to hear you play his music and to keep you in my heart and prayers. Just know that people care about you because of God's love for you.

I have never seen anyone who is as tender with a song as David Phelps. He doesn't crush the idea and spirit of a song even when singing at full volume. He is still careful with the song's meaning.

Never a bad performance with David because he is such a believer. He believes what he is singing and that is why he touches our hearts and souls. May God continue to shine for us through Davids incredible vocal gift. I am constantly astonished by him and how his singing always affects me and comforts me. I feel like I can just soak up the love of God through David's glorious voice. 🎶🌹

I listen to David every single day lol. I don’t often make your live reactions, due to time difference I suppose, but I always mark them to watch as soon as I get home. I appreciate the feeling of community, being around other people who feel the same kind of emotions, even if it is just virtual. I cry when I listen to his music, even when it’s the 100th time I’ve listened to a song!

As an American who is not particularly religious, thanks you sooooooo much my Australian friend for turning me on to David Phelps, as I am now obsessed with his voice as well. Lyle, you need to go to David Phelps' Barn Bash 2021. He has one on Labor Day (September) and then he has 2 at Christmas time (Nov 28 and 29 I think this year). Look on his website.
