on that passuk , Rashi comments the name of Hashem refers to g-d's ability to eventually punish, but also to repay us for our mitzvos in the world to come. " Today to perform them, tomorrow in olam haba to receive their reward" ( gemara Eruvin 22).
If you waste seed you will feel depressed, full of remorse, and will not have a strong mind to learn torah. Not enough rabbis stress the severity of this sin, but it can destroy all your spiritual accomplishments . One should guard their bris like they do the money in their bank account.

no man its true. When i first discovered torah i was still hooking up with girls and not guarding the bris, and i could never focus on learning. It was so hard to stop touching women and guard my bris but it was the best decision i made in my life. Its like a drug addict who refuses to admit their problem due to their love of the substance, but a loved one or friend encourages them to quit for their own benefit. Once you rid yourself of this sin your neshama is going to have such an aliya you will do anything to maintain this madrega. if you do not see it this was i feel bad for you, your still sunken in lusts and desires. Just know you sin to escape your misery like the junkie shoots up to get his fix.
Wasting seed makes an individual dull minded.

When I wasted seed, I kept none of the money I earned from my government job. I eventually lost my job.
When I stopped wasting seed, even being unemployed, I was able to save up money every month.
Money is one of the many benefits, but you need to fight every day to keep yourself from wasting seed.

What blows my mind is some men claim premarital sex isnt wasting sex lol. Not mentioning its karis and has many other issues. Masyurbation is not a karith but nidah sex is. What if a couple is in a long distance relationship and there's no way for them to be together? Will the husband doing masturbation to avoid sleeping with another woman and to keep his loyalty to his wife still be considered a worst sin? And how about the wife in the long distant relationship trying to help her husband masturbate, is she sinning also? Pls answer my question.. we need enlightenment on this. Thanks.

Another question, if the addiction to waste seed is so strong that while you have thoughts and know it’s against the Torah and you also have thoughts of your addiction in your mind simultaneously, but the addiction overpowers your mind because you cannot fight the urges, can one still do teshuva if they were to actually stop and never do it again?
Not really relevant, but when I am stating the differences between wasting seed and abortion to my politics friends I make the distinction that seed isn’t considered human (according to science). I state that it’s not human until the sperm fertilizes the egg. Sperm is ones own DNA, but when the egg is fertilized it creates its own unique genetic code that is different from their parents. I’m pretty sure this is not an acceptable answer according to the Torah. In fact, I know it isn’t. I’m just not sure why. Does anyone have any idea why?

If you want to stop waste seed the first thing you must do is watch your eyes. It is not just pornography but you also have to use your mouth and rebuke yourself when this feeling comes on you. Also abstain from ungodly music, as well as looking at immodest women. It's been 3 years since I haven't wasted seed and I got help from the Most High. What tremendously helped me was praying facing Jerusalem, confessing, repenting and telling God that I couldn't stop and because of Him after 3 years I no longer have desire to waste seed. I hope this helps.

One explanation is that you bring down negative souls/ entities to this world, it can bring bad dreams/ sleep paralysis, it can harm you, if you control that and lashon hara you can see great improvement in your life, best wishes

@LOL MAO it could be that you were a precocious child, I was a nightmare to my parents, I joke that by being my parents they already earned a place in heaven, I don’t know what your religious background yours is but when you return to the Creator and make the commitment to turn away from sins and be the best version of yourself and do something good in this world to make it worth while all that life has given you so far( a lot), for most of us the western world, just think of the following example: just the fact that you can go to the dentist/ doctors and have anesthesia ( luxury), means that generations before you sacrificed their lives in a lab, before it, people had body parts cut off without anesthesia, just an example, when we actually wise up and get some degree of humility and pray to the Creator that we can use the red of our days to do good to his creation ( within your little corner of the world), we made ourselves somewhat worthy of everything we are given, anything outside of full gratitude is just vanity, stupidity, arrogance, I am 45 years old and my only regrets are the good I didn’t do, be well

I'm pretty sure both are wasting seed but abortion only kills one while wasting seed kills millions. Hope the rabbi can give a much better answer but I hope this still answered your question
