my love for mama juju is amazing .karibuni tukule sukuma , siweki kituunguu ama nyanya . while runda people are busy showing all they have not even a glass of water.
I was born in one of the biggest slums in Nairobi but my parents worked so hard and we have houses in two estates equivalent or more luxurious compared to Runda. To be honest they never played dirty . The only problem is that all this money really is not everything,my dad is a functioning alcoholic and workaholic and mum has psychological issues. We are a dysfunctional family in general and I can confidently tell you money will never make you happy or complete.
i still have a plot on phase 4. if you want to learn well about runda ask the residents of around villages which were used as settlements during colonization period.
I can guarantee the last lady in the end has much better coping skills than 85% of Runda residents. For example, they are likely to go for therapy over an issue than just coping and dealing with it.
did anyone notice kikuyus are the property managers and security personel while the luhyas are the residents ? IN KIAMBU ??? kweli things have changed.
I'm really surprised they have water problems. I know of places in middle class areas that have a reliable water supply. Much more than what I am seeing here

Polly kathambi, who said money is evil!? In fact poverty is the root of all evil - theft, drugs, robbery etc
susan kariuki you completely missed Polly’s point which is as simple as it could be 🤦🏾♀️
