The greatest character development has to be Zeus.. hahaha He got used of getting ganked so much that he was even able to come back and be a deciding factor this match lol
Apparently it completely flew over the casters heads, that T1 was playing the map so much better. Despite kills they were so far ahead during the early game. They got all the Grubs, they got all the Dragons. Zeus was ahead in Gold even though they killed him 3 times. BLG sacrificed the map for a few kills and got punished hard. If you rewatch the early game you will see, that BLG desperately needed those kills to keep up in terms of gold, and yet they did not eventually. This wasn't a Faker show. It was a "how to play the map show". T1 had a pick comp. Faker did some fine engages, true, but everyone on T1 did their job. I think the outstanding fact in this game is, how little BLG did in terms of objectives. They got completely schooled in macro gameplay.
Truly bizarre for BLG to totally change their draft strategy on match point. Their drafts have been working for them; they’re up 2-1; then they decide to prio a blind Gnar (when Rumble is up and Bin’s been performing great on him), and Ziggs. Then they totally grief by drafting Smolder in a series where the first 3 games have been over at 27 minutes. I’m no coach or analyst, but I really would like to hear some professional takes on BLG’s draft this game, because it felt truly bizarre and borderline griefing.
There was nothing wrong with the draft, T1 simply played it better this game, I see people love to blame draft when the game deciding moment was personal performance. Such as better engage and team fight in crucial moments.
Ziggs were there to clear wave during mid-game and go against ash in early lane phase. as long as BLG not falling behind too much early game, smolder is not a bad pick. T1 wasn’t ahead until faker TP to jungle and engage with Rakan’ ult in mid-land.
@Wuteva-z7u fans celebrate because they support a team. Players should play if they want to call themselves champions. He wasn't good enough for T1 to put in the game and this doesn't deserve to celebrate something he didn't help create. eSports wouldn't even exist without the fans. If all fans stopped watching and attending events. eSports would just be cancelled.
