The care you took to protect the gold coloured car from your gate says a lot about you and the respect you show for the homeowners front yard. I see some of the mess left behind after some scrappers and others go through it, just shameful. Just like the people who throw garbage on the road or their discarded bottles at the recycle and refund machines. Rubbish strewn everywhere.

Tip for the chairs with allen keys is cut some down so you just had the straight section and they fit direct into a drill. Used to do that all the time when I worked building rattan style furniture in a previous life.

Haha I know some scrappers that prefer them over side cutters. Side cutters all day for me though 🙂

I live in England and my son took some copper wire and stripped out the copper that to the scrap yard and got £200 for it, he brings it home from work

Poly,why don't you buy the Allen key bit for those chairs.it seems like every other stop you go to often has those chair's.
I’ll probably cut some Allen keys and use them with my other drill 🙂

Oh yes they are such beautiful people. Our driver Made was an absolute legend. He took us everywhere and would wait for us all night and only want $40AUD. We all tipped him heavily because he’s a gun and we were drunk most the time lol 😂

So many scrappers leave bigger metal frame items because they don't have time or a sawzall. You have time but no sawzall... shame it's good weight material. Doesn't take that much to cut it up. Still not a bad load.
The only time I’d use the saw was if I had a scheduled pick up and agreed to take everything. Otherwise I’d skip and move on to the next one 🙂

I’ve driven on the opposite side in Tahiti. Just have to keep the driver in the middle of the road. If your driving with the sidewalk next to you, you’re on the wrong side of the road 😁
