I went to iup graduated in 2010 had 4 part time jobs, didn't have issues making friends, still talk to them to this day. I enjoyed the small town life. Different experiences for different people I guess.
Cool video. I graduated IUP in 1992 so it was very different then. The town was fairly vibrant with so many clubs, restaurants and bars that catered to the students. Back then the Indiana mall existed and you could take the IUP bus there with your student ID card. When I saw your video, I thought it was going to be a comical one and mention you wish you knew how much it rained there. I stayed one year in the international dorm so I was bombarded with so many different cultures that really blew my mind. I look back and appreciate that experience.
Your video brought back a funny memory of IUP. In one of the dorms someone stole someone's laundry basket. The victim posted a sign in the laundry room that said, "Here is the lid to the laundry basket that you stole. You might as well have it since you took the basket"
I attend IUP and let me tell you.. everything you said is true, Espcially me being from philly, sothey makes it seem even smaller. I can deal with the quiet though. I cant deal with people not wanting to make friends :(
IUP is mainly a walking campus. I’ve visited a few times and had so much trouble trying to drive on campus. So you def don’t need a car. (I’m starting there in the fall!)

can you bring a car as a freshman?
I don't think, but some steal one as a sophomore.

I’m really late, but yes! I’m pretty sure it is $200 for a permit. There is a bus you can ride for free if you show your iCard though!
Emily Frey thank you!
