I find the “Dead Internet Theory” quite interesting even though it’s almost definitely not true. The thought that most traffic online is just bots driving the algorithm is a fun idea to entertain, but also somewhat scary knowing that it’s possible to create millions of bots that can say whatever you want.
I actually kind of agree with you on this. I am a STEM student who wants to see and be a part of technological advancements. I am currently on a vacation with family in the Caribbean and I have seen poverty first hand up close. It made me think how pointless any advancements are when people here don’t have access to the bare minimum for what we would call live able conditions.
