@@wumpy0106 i don’t think they ever will because this was a dark time in josh’s life and i think he’s like lowkey embarrassed about this older stuff because it’s not polished or anything.
this was before marianas trench, ramsay fiction was him and a couple of his friends i’m not sure if matt was there, possibly was and also his sister sara :)
@@wumpy0106Matt was not, at least from all the resources we’ve been able to locate. It was Josh, Steve Marshall (the co-writer of Push & guy who gave MT their name during the 5-piece era), Trevor Spilchen (who came back to record stuff on Acadia), Sara Ramsay (Josh’s sister, obvs) & then a mix of various drummers over time (one of which was named Chris, who I assume is the “Chris” brought up on Acadia), with Ian joining the group as RF was slowly morphing into MT. Matt & Morgan Hempstead joined Josh, Steve & Ian, then Steve & Morgan dipped, allowing Mike to join and help the group fully establish themselves.
I know that the line "A headache from the sink, and a bullet down if anything" isn't right (I was the one who added it to AZ lyrics a few years ago lol, there used to just be a "?" where the lyric was that I filled in but my name isn't at the bottom anymore for some reason) but I'm honestly not sure what the fuck he's saying. Sounds like he could be saying "headed from the sink, and it's further down in than you think" but what would that even mean right? If anyone else has any clue what he might be saying let me know. Still trying to figure it out.
my best guess would be "heading from the sink / and just pull me down and do you think / it won't be long now?" but like you said its really hard to tell
My best guess, including a reason, is 'headed from the sink / it's further down than you think.' i think it might be alluding to being physically sick, stumbling and falling while near a sink? the line COULD be 'headache from the sink,' which could allude to hitting your head on the way down. I've listened to it quite a few times and am fairly confident in the link 'it's further down than you think,' but this is the best i could hear for the other line as well
@@peysecail haha i’ve been in a mariana’s trench hyperfixation and everyone in like every comment section of they’re older stuff commented like years ago and i’m just finding all this stuff recently 😭
The songs from the album of Fix me are depressing but yet they sound angry. These ones just sound so depressing, especially that instrumental...
These songs are neat, but hearing Josh like this breaks my heart.
These songs need to be released on iTunes, google play and Spotify 😍
Pop101 Mtrench ikr.
For real, why aren’t they? 💔
you can really hear josh baring his soul :'(
This is so powerful. It breaks my heart.
Damn, another rare Ramsay Fiction song popping up? That's 4 now..... that I know of. Not counting the EP as RF stuff.
Coming back to this ages later is so funny to me cause Turn & Run shares a lot of similarities.
such a niche middle school memory i wish i didnt have 😬
agreed
It feels so fitting that I found this on josh's birthday
Thank you so much for sharing
I love this song
2 years ago?! Where have I been?!?!! Ahhh
more like 20 actually
could someone please stand up for me
could someone please look out for me 💔
So deep oml
holy shit this song, i forgot about this one
I miss the old marianas trench
So do the 300’000 fans that left after Josh directed the band into a whole new genre of music.
Me mad that these aren't on Spotify
idk i wonder if they’ll ever release them, i hope they release the ep they had during ramsay fiction bc it would be so nostalgic

WHY HAVENT I DISCOVERED THAT JOSH HAS A SIDE PROJECT TILL NOW!?

This song and still angry are from 2002 so its Marianas trenchnot raamsys fiction :-)
Veronica Gordyn this song and still angry are from josh's old band, ramsay fiction. marianas trench's first album came out in 2006 (:
em if I'm not mistaken the Mariana's Trench EP came out in 2003, so it's pretty likely this was a Marianas Trench demo
this had nuffin to do with trench, it was for the previous band josh was in
@@ash-fi2zx no, actually, this song and still angry were marianas trench demos in 2002. ramsay fiction was gone by then

I have a strange habit of hearing it as "heading from the sink guess it's better out than anything"

I kind of hear “headed from the sick, and it’s further down in than you think” like withdrawals maybe? Dope sick? I don’t know
