Use Cyclopropane instead of R134a, also known as RC270, probably you can try to get it from Linde, BOC or Air liquide It has similar-ish condensing temperatures to R12 higher low side pressure, and it heats more when compressed and cools mofe when expanded
Just because you don't, doesn't mean people aren't driving cars with R12 system. You're also not aware of the number of people requesting for this content.
@@studentlesson I've got an 84 K20 Chevy and a 94 Corvette never needed anything newer and I've been a mechanic for 40 yrs. Do a video on installing AC in a car that didn't come with it. I've done that too. don't take it personal, but I don't see that many cars on the road that still run R12 except for the one I'm driving.
Thanks for the help! I got a 83 Camaro with the original R12 system this is great video!

I think the difference between r12 & r134 electrical systems should of been explainedl, r12 systems don't have a Hi Pressure sensor. 💣
They're banning 134a, so you'll be doing this again with some other refrigerant soon.
Yeah, with them banning 134a, it looks like we'll be going through this all over again with another refrigerant soon.
They started phasing out R12 in the late 80s by 1995 it was done. R134 was in every car.who really drives anything old enough anymore that has R12.

No new cars have R134a. Its being banned and phased out. GM cars newer than 2015 don't use it.
I've a 93 Chevy Pickup and 91 mustang. So... 😂
