Props for calling out the dark path BMG is going down at the moment. Feels like a Ubisoft or Activision title. Horrible game code, new legends become absurd because they cant come up with new ideas without drifting further away from the core Design of Brawlhalla and the worst: money farming with pay to win skins right after releasing a patch in which they buff the weapons of the released crossover skins. What a coincidence….
I know right! There’s no way they actually believed that both sword and spear needed buffs (especially spear which is a top 3 weapon). And now they’re already coming out with a part 2 after only a month since the first part… seriously ridiculous.
It’s been like this for like 2 years if not longer now, I’ve been calling bmg out the entire time and I’m baffled that barely anyone realises what they’re doing. Which is the bare minimum for players and all their brain power goes into new skins or new categories for skins to squeeze out even more money
Queen nia should be on this list but the boots are so relatable literally cannot escape the boots
My favourite mechanic as of now in a fighting game is the "sadness meter" where the more passive you are, the more damage you take upon hit and the less power meter you obtain for moves to the point where it stops filling up.

Yomi hustle added this to stop players from just zoning in a place and spamming pronectiles
I can sum up what annoys me easily. Down scythe grab spams, the desync with no warning until you're dead, that way too shifty musafar map that kills you with small mistakes faster than any plat player, Thea, and that light attacks can kill you. Idk, I hate running into players that love hit and run tactics in a damn discount smash bros fighting game. Might just be a skill issue but still annoying

I literally was just trying to get into a game, pressed Q too fast to menu select, went into the store and fat fingered buying the lightsaber spear skin. I had 0 refunds, and was pissed because I literally only had 140 left
there are so many things they could work on to improve the game, but they dont care. To name a few, can we update the design of the borders?, its been forever, give rewards in clans for actual active players in it, maybe even introduce some sort of clan war feature?, with that being said, you cant even join a clan unless u luckily get invited into one, and its a dead clan with 5 members majority of the time, etc., but hey.. gotta release more crossovers :DD
1:06 reason for this is cus someone who selected random in tournament could get a banned legend and new legends are banned in tournament for a few months

I think that the best way to make the game better is to ban all Teros mains, and add the feature that when u peak it, u'll be banned instantly forever. Also delete the greatsword pls

I personally always hate how the hit detection is in this game, im close up on an opponent but attacks sometimes don't hit even though im in there face, it's like all my attacks all passes through them, the weapons need a slightly bigger hit box that covers more of the weapons
I play passive aggressive but mostly aggressive, i hate that i have to literally run away n then do an attack just to hit people, or wait til the opponent uses an signature n just go in hit a few times n repeat
Sometimes you just have to take the risk and try to win neutral. Baiting and punishing will forever be a very solid way to play any fighting game but if you don’t want to play that way as often you have to take that initiative.

The loading time is really quick on ps ngl, Mid game issues is really annoying, Battlepass missions really annoying lol, Clans should be updated and added in ps, signature dropping is really something that makes you break your device, Custom lightsabers makes it feel so diff i wish there is a option to disable custom sigs and light attacks, teros makes my soul leave my body, orion makes the soul leave my soul, Zariel makes my soul leave my souls soul.

#50 TRUEEEE. I got work every day and mud wake up early, like 6-7AM every day, and every night I play Brawlhalla up to 4AM or until I get caught by my parents. Of course got grounded several times, but I wish it wasn't so obsessive. It really affects my sleeping, too, since would only sleep 2-4 hours every single day, and waking up like a zombie. A HORRIBLE feeling.

I used to call it that too, but I think helicopter is better for recovery since it’s going up. Beyblade is more fitting for groundpound since it’s going down. I know it’s probably putting too much thought into it but 🤷♂️

Regarding #35, the lore: As the unofficial Loremaster in the community, I know the devs care about their lore because I see subtle nods to the lore all the time in a plethora of skins, battle pass items, shop descriptions, etc. I try to highlight these things in my videos & tweets.
Could they do more? Certainly. I'd love to see it. But saying the devs don't care about their own lore is assuming too much about how the lore gets made & used.
They definitely care more than I made it seem, just like many aspects of my videos, I tend to over-exaggerate for comedic purposes. They do know their lore and use it in certain ways, but for how deep and intricate the lore gets, I feel like there should be more. Anyways, glad to hear from you Baron my king 👑

Forgot to mention how awful the new player experience is. As a new player this feels like one of the worst games I’ve ever played, but I’m suffering through to see if it gets better.
It does and it doesn’t, if that makes any sense. Once you learn the fundamentals and whatnot, the game will start to click for you. But at the same time, it’s always going to be infuriating. Best thing to do is not take it too seriously and have fun if you can. As much as I trash the game, it really is one of the better games I’ve played in my life.
True asf, after learning some fundamentals (others can be much more difficult to grasp) it can sometimes be more bearable, but it is still a pain trying to learn and gain experience at the same time, more so than other games I've played. But at the same time, as a new player it can sometimes just feel outright punishing, wanting to play, learn and get better because the online community is insufferable. Though I am pushing my grievances aside so I actually CAN get better and progress my career in competitive gaming.
I have only ever bought one thing in Brawlhalla and that is Tai Lung
I just mod smash for all the custom characters and stages I need, shame you can’t mod brawlhalla, it would be the one reason I would actually play it.

Nothing is annoying in Brawlhalla for me, besides coins that takes WAY too long to grind plus Sponsored Ad System barely gets you good rewards, and sadly does not include K.O. Effects and Podiums.

Am i the only one where if i havent played in awhile, the game runs so smooth and quick but after a little while, the game starts to feel very slow and delayed? I cant move nearly as fast.
"money hungry" and "greedy" is wild to say about a free to play fighting game. newer, higher priced *cosmetic* items have been released (tho lightsabers and the SW crossovers are p2w), but those are still lower priced than items in many other f2p games. the new bp tier is just like the seasonal packs, a better deal.
It’s not really that wild when you listen to the things I say. For example, it’s $6 worth of mammoth coins for a lightsaber weapon skin. You can have your own opinion, but I don’t really see much of a justification for that, and same goes for the rest of what I said in the video regarding money. Like I said you can think what you want, but I’m clearly not the only one that thinks this
It's alright I guess, everyone has their own opinions, people who played few free-to-play money laundry games might take brawlhalla as a money laundry game, I had my favourite game turn into that, it is Brawl Stars, in its early stages it was about skill and grinding, I don't complain about grinding because it is the players choice to grind or not in the end and also it was not addictive and luck based, but now it is turned completely into a money eating game the brawl pass that was free if we played 2 seasons got replaced to real money getting characters is now luck based, I just left this game and shifted to brawlhalla, if I look at brawlhalla now and compare to its previous years it is not that bad leaving the crossovers it is still a skill based game, not a luck based game, and if we look at the missions, it allows us to improve in every aspect of the game, though some are useless, compared to other games I can really say as a game it is one of the best game I have ever played

I main mordex and I’m trying to get the fenrir mordex. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not a sandstorm wannabe. I found out sandstorm played mordex after I started to main mordex
I also like mordex, yes it was after seeing sandstorm play mordex, but not because of sandstorm because of its weapons I like mordex gauntlets that provide mobility and used in short range, sycthe that is used in mid range and it's overall stats are good, but right now I will be playing Loki because of its weapons sycthe and katar
Just use dodge and not getting hit by axe or sword when coming back to stage

Yeah the game has been growing stagnant and I can't see myself playing it anymore. I used to grind ranked but the game promotes such a garbage playstyle alongside the only new content ever being crossovers, crossovers that you can't participate in AT ALL unless you spend money (unless you count stages).
And the stages suck too 😭
