Goosebumps was a huge part of my childhood! Every month I would buy the new book at Borders Book Shop... I have read every book from the original series and series 2000. When I was 11 I discovered Fear Street and to this day it remains my favorite book series. R.L Stine is a legend!
I’ve always been a Goosebumps fan. I grew up with a single Mom and we didn’t have much money so I only owned a couple of the books, I would check them out from the library though. I was 7 when the show came out and I watched it every week. I’ve recently been reading the series and it’s still enjoyable as an adult. Stine is a great writer and storyteller.
I almost read all of his books when I was like 10 years old, it is lots of great adventures and an interesting way to study American culture for this Asian kid~
When I was young at the book fair it was the cover art work that pulled me to those books to bad in dyslexic and never really read them I absolutely love the TV show and I wacth it year round it's fun to watch
Skeleton Entertainment I believe it causes people to see letters & numbers backwards. There are many people who have this. I found out Hebert Winkler who played the Fonz on Happy Days was dyslexic. His teachers used to tell him he was dumb & he believed them, yet now know at how successful he has become!
I really love R.L Stine! He is my favorite author, fear street books and other books he wrote is on my collection list and continously finding out more.
He has inspired me since 3rd grade I love his books. He inspires me to become a writer I grew up reading and watching goosebumps although goosebumps didn't really entertain me as a kid but fear street is so awesome I'm so happy to be inspired by him. He is the only author that books of his I'll read
I still enjoy going back and reading Fear Street (and I'm pushing 40), and I love reading Goosebumps to my kids. R.L. Stine made me love reading growing up. A love I still have to this day.
I am from India and my school library had all his goosebumps series. We used to get one book loaned every 2 weeks, I read mine and begged my friends to loan goosebumps for me too cos they didn't like reading much anyways!bthanks for making my childhood awesome
What nostalgia Goosebumps brings! Im reading The Beast and The Beast 2 right now. 2 books about the famous wooden roller coaster at Kings Island. So good!
Older Goosebumps This TV program needs to come to India again For example, mobile needs to come to Netflix and TV needs to come to India channel Why this program is not shown on TV and Netflix today For me and my visiting friends in India 🇮🇳❤️ We invite you to revisit this program
I draw a Goosebumps monsters in many past days, they are Mr. Mortman in monster features, a cuckoo clock & cuckoo bird, a camera, a mutant plant, a mummy, a werewolves, a mud monsters, the Monster Blood, a scarecrow monster, a magic rabbit monsters, the pumpkin head monster, a red panda monster, an egg monster, Grool the sponge monster, Lanx potato - like creature and a creepier worm. When I was a kid in 2nd grade I can vividly remember getting goosebumps books from my school library because of the picture on the cover, lol my favorite one was “welcome to camp nightmare “ we would have quiet reading time of course my desk was far away from everyone cause I was such a “trouble maker” lol, but during this time I would just stare at the cover maybe read one page and then space out 😂😂 idk how I’m such a good reader today to be honest I never payed attention during that time, then I’m pretty sure the first goosebumps book I read was “ calling all creeps “ and my mom was forcing me to read it and I hated it, cause she would make me read and then quiz me, my dad did it too, one time laying there after crying like a tool bag I had finally hit that “ juicy spot “ in the book and I’m like in my head going omg wow ! Oh wow ! I was HOOKED!!!!! From then on I read the goosebumps books no more buying for tj jacobsons lol cover art hahahaha that’s my story of how I got OBSESSED with goosebumps !
Just in case there is any question whatsoever, the man in this interview absolutely wrote the books he wrote. He is not an actor, he is a writer. Period.
This man inspired an entire generation of young teens to become ardent novel readers. Such an important contribution to history.
Until J.K. Rowling came along and dropped a piece of her own XD

This man scared the shit out of me as a child.
He is cool. I like his way of talking. We all read the Goosebumps books in Australia in the 90s, and also the Point Horror series!
IMMORTAL BOOK SERIES By a LEGEND Waaaoooo ,,,,MAN WHAT A FEELING
To this day i occasionally have a nightmare about slappy from the live action. R.L. Stine really did a good job at spooking us.
😂😂❤❤❤❤

Fantastic writer. Really had a knack for character development too: "Suddenly Joey walked in the room. He was 12 years old and wore a blue shirt."
R L Stine is a legend. Scaring kids but not traumatizing them, except Camp Jellyjam, that one was way too scary for my 9 year old ass
I used to read Goosebumps under the desk when boring school classes went on.
Living legend
“The Stephen King of Children’s Literature.”
