@zarapico Hi Mario, thank you! Are you also into Brazilian rhythms? There will be more videos about this. For you and your family also a Happy New Year!
Fantastic, some nice interesting rhythms which are not too technically challenging. Perfect for a beginner who is starting to feel comfortable with the basic samba rhythm and ready to start changing things up. Exactly what I was looking for.
The "roll" (aka "glissando") motion (with the wax - I use bee's wax) can also be done on the conga head to produce a "wa-ooooooooh" (aka "moose call") sort of noise.
@mdm2230 Yes Michael, I am also much into them. But I only have a pandeiro, and a cuica. I once had and played for a few months a cavaquinho, but gave it up because it hurt my hand from squeezing my firngers so tightly, guess I am spoiled from the classical guitar!
Excelent video, there was a couple of ones I had never seen there. I hope to see a future video with more rhythms. It took me a while to develop the roll as well, I discovered that it is easier on a plastic head vs. a hide one. Thank you and Happy New Year Michael
Excelente tutorial, muchas gracias Michael.
Muchas gracias, Anxo!
