If you Max out your Armor as high as you can make it and put 20 points into Body with all the HP and Regeneration Perks, you can still be killed if your not careful and not playing on Easy.

They added a USELESS but AWESOME mechanic that lets you see the animation that usually only plays the first time you pull out a given weapon. Now you can double-tap Y (or Triangle/whatever pc control that is used to swap weapons) when your weapon is holstered to see that sweet knife animation, katana animation, and multiple different awesome gun animations. Is it useful? Hell no. Does it add anything substantial to the equation? Not a chance. They simply added this “inspection” ability because PLAYERS. WANTED. IT. You people need to cut CDPR some SEVERE slack, because try giving me another company that does that anymore. Ubisoft quit doing that YEARS ago, Activision doesn’t give a fuck but if the investors tell them to they will, Bungie just knows what their players want and usually don’t have to do much, etc. Sure, there’s definitely a few companies out there that still actually value their players and their feedback, but the keyword there is “few.” CDPR is a company that didn’t abandon its playerbase when most other companies did. Cyberpunk is a masterpiece, no matter how rocky the launch was. They did what Ubisoft didn’t do. Ubisoft used to set trends, now they chase trends. CDPR may not be the conglomerate that Ubisoft is, but they have made masterpiece after master-fuckin-piece.

I always had the impression they where forced to release due to contractual obligations. Sometimes even the company owners have no choice. Breach of contract can cost millions in lawyers and penalties. I for one am glad we saw this game evolve from a lump of coal into a diamond. We all got to share in the journey. If it helps, think of the launch as early access and 2.0 the official release of the game.
I've been a fan of cyberpunk 2077 even with its flaws but wow what a turn around and beauty they turned it into with version 2.0 and as for Phantom liberty, ooooh my days it's better than the base game for me soooooo much fun and action, I feel like I'm playing in an action movie. I'm currently loving using my katana as a bullet ricochet machine

Just finished the dlc and gotta say, it is my most enjoyable single player gaming experience I've ever had. Didn't bring me to tears, but damn it was thrilling, scary, exciting, and fun as all hell. Give it a try, you won't regret it at all.

Beyond incredible dlc. So much more context and lore were added and the amount of choices are even more than before. It surpassed my expectations and made me fall in love with cyberpunk all over again.
The builds are so insane now. I mean there's a fking a "Resident Evil Laser" grenade that makes a giant laser grid that chops up anyone under 30% health (iirc, though I def killed healthy ppl) like the resident evil movie lasers.
This update turned this game into one of the best FPS games I have ever played. I'm having a blast playing it on very hard, people complaining about enemies being too "spongy" just aren't playing it properly. If you make an optimized build and combo everything you got, enemies die quickly enough (except bosses, which is good in my opinion because it forces you to learn it's mechanics).

I really depsise how a guy can just knock you out with a gun bash and you can't do shit meanwhile you beat up a fucking tank with a baseball bat and literally was getting exploded by bombs you were hitting and yet this guy can still knock you out with the back of a gun in one hit... I really despise when stories do this. AC did this once when ezio got stabbed with a knife on a horse and a whole 2nd game was started because he lost an apple. Meanwhile you can take multiple gunshot wounds, stab wounds, and still survive with a quick heal.
I mean, they have a track record of putting out buggy games that get a enhanced edition later down the line. It's just that until the Witcher 3 they where not all the way mainstream yet.

It gives me bad memories from the GTA 5 buzzard where one of the main issues with using the cannons is that it's not centered or worth using against ground targets. Not that the damage or actual flying mechanics actually helped. Same goes for ground vehicles.
I have such a love-hate relationship with cyberpunk.
