I remember going to SM Cubao with my parents back before SM North EDSA was built. I was in elementary when SM North EDSA opened in 1985. That mall has a sentimental value to me.

Honestly North Edsa had so many rebuilding.. As a guy who lives in San Juan/Quezon City i would say it’s a very old mall.

@@zamir3773 oldest as a supermall but not the oldest SM. The very first SM was in Carriedo in the late 50s then SM Makati followed by SM Cubao. But it was SM North EDSA that began the supermall experience. I was in elementary when North EDSA was opened in '85 and remembered the time it was still being constructed.
My first SM Mall was North Edsa, ung lumang logo pa ng SM ang nakadisplay at naabutan ko din malaking billboard na nagbabago ng ads on the spot.
