Thanks man I just bought mine and was setting It up last night and didn’t know how to keep my PlayStation working when I turn off the ps on rest mode. I’m going to Mexico so I hope It still works
So the portal just stays in restmode after you disconnect? If so this will drain the battery. I tried that but i turned the portal completely off and could not wake the ps5 again.

When I am finished playing with game on portal how do I switch back to continue playing the game on the tv ?
Just hold the power button on the portal, cutting it off. Then, go and press the ps button on your console controller. Your game won’t miss a beat.
So if your on holiday and switch on the ps portal, it will turn on your ps5 which then turns on the tv at home? sounds a bit of a headache.
Turn off the mode through your TV settings. So when you turn on the portal only the ps5 runs not the tv

Yes, it’s important that it’s in restmode. Not possible if its completly off. Sadly:(
