- Hello Guys. So in this video i am comparing the lenses mentioned below.
Nikon 50mm Lens: amzn.to/2jMguQt
Nikon 70-300mm Lens: amzn.to/2ICuJT7
First one is the 50mm prime lens with 1.8 Aperture which is a fast lens and performs exceptionally well even in low lighting conditions. On the other hand we have a Zoom lens, Nikon 70-300mm which can shoot pics from a long distance with great quality. The only drawback is that its hard to capture handheld images in low lighting conditions. So both have their pros and cons. Its totally upto you which one would you go for. After watching this video till the end, You will get an idea of their performance. :) Enjoy

@@rajusen3636 for portrait 50mm 1.8G is best for out of focus background. Lekin 70-300 bhi use kar sakte ho. Ye 70-300mm jyada versatile hai.

Try providing more information like difference in aperture and thus its effect on low light performance. Bokeh isn't the only thing, the kind of bokeh and compression is also quite different between the two lens. Otherwise a good attempt from you guys. Keep it up👍👍
Thanks for ur valuable suggestion.. actually I had been getting requests to make video on bokeh comparison b/w these 2 lenses.. so just focused on that here... But yes, I am being asked in comments about the things u mentioned.. so answering it in the comments section.. a video on Low light photography is also lined up.. where I'll compare these 2 lenses. I think 50mm is much better because of its versatility to be use for both photos and videos and it works great during night where the 70-300mm is a zoom lens so great if you want to do wildlife photography or birds it can also be use for portraits and had to stand very far away from the object

I'm having Nikon d5300 and right now I'm having 70-300mm and not having any money to buy 50mm. So Can U plz tell best setting for best blury effect or blury background
zoom all the way up to 300mm and go back to compose your subject and shoot :DD
Just like Strix Xx commented below.. try to zoom in to the max. Use the max wide aperture.. try to crop in the subject.. i mean the more closer u are to the subject the more background blur u will get. . . Also..if the background will be at a distance, u will get more blur. Hope that helps

Thanks for asking man.. see 70-300 is a good lens if u r looking for nice bokeh. But.. 50mm is a lens one must have if u love photography.. obviously it will give u a great bokeh..plus u won't have to go far away from the subject to click the image in order to get background blur.. plus.. it works way better in low light as compared to 70-300.
