you have to think about what the viewers would want as well, the target audience is 8-12 and it wasn't as vibrant as the other build so they would probably click off when they see a grey castle

It's not about being best tho. The judges makes the rules basically. I have been in competitions too where same thing happend. You don't only need skill but you also need luck sometimes. Once I remember someone winning build competition with 100x less work put in his building just because judges thought it was hilarious looking
remember they legit had someone win a comp so he could game with the boys, yeah they did give the college person some money to pay off some college
you should seriously consider submitting your work to art museums. this needs to be seen by the whole world and preserved for the rest of the century.

all the other builds had more "eye-catching subjects," dragons, more spongebob references, tigers, a wider range of different colors, more chaotic, just more... immature..... You're build was so good it looped back around to being on the lower end of the spectrum lol. it was too elegant and amazing rather than dumb or funny. I still cant believe you didn't win, best build there, i seriously feel bad for you. I'd be so frustrated and upset that I didn't get any recognition that I might cry a little. That just really sucks man..
Dude you honestly deserved so much more in the challenge. Even if you think you didn’t stand a chance, you knew your build was like better than 50% of the players.

MrBeast needs to hire some rational assistants that will seriously take a look on every server, the fact that you were not chosen proves that they didn't even take a look at your build, thus it was truly mesmerizing and monumental

How did they not see yours?! It was the best one in my opinion. I think you should like show them to museums like what Di Nixi suggested. If Beast doesn’t recognize it, so be it. I think there may’ve been a mistake in the judging, cause this definitely deserved at least some recognition. Especially since you put a lotta effort into referencing all sorts of cool MrBeast stuff.

I feel you though, I also made a build that took me 30 hours to complete, and it was one of the taller builds in my area with dragons flying around it. Sadly tho I didn't make it into the video either. It had full interior and references to the channel as well. It felt a bit like a slap, but oh well.

Your build was a million times better than that and you still get no runner up or anything. Do they feature builds on their server after the competition? Or is it all deleted?
Edit: I also think one reason you were not featured is because I think that perhaps the judges thought the build had no interior.
There was no kind of show off of best builds for people after but we were able to download the builds which is how I put mine in the super flat biome.

Know I’m definitely making this comment late, but it’s awesome you got to participate in this event though I with the effort was more fruitful. Nonetheless I absolutely love your build and have taken inspiration, after being locked out of an old account and loosing hundreds of hours of builds and superstructures, I am starting a new superstructure build inspired by your castle. And although it is perhaps a dream, it would be an honor to share what little I archived of my old builds and progress of my current one.

It takes usually around 10000 hours to become proficient at something so If you think ur builds suck just jeep working the hours and improving.
I'm a new heavy equipment op who had sine experience previously, I thought I knew how some my machines worked. After coming to the trade school I'm in I realized how rookie I am compared to some my peers.

It's the same in +456every build competition, i was in another youtubers build comp and mine stood out being the greatest while others did weird and trolling builds, mine got 0 screen time and 0 recognition and wasnt even talked about, while they laughed at the troll builds and chose a winner. i was so upset and mad that i put hours into my build and they put 10mins in and won, sometimes i think its rigged, you deserved to win bro, your build was amazing, from builder to builder.
