Thank you for sharing that story, scary situation. I've camped in the desert with a friend or two and even then it can be scary I can't imagine how it was for him.
Wow, that is utterly fascinating! Good thing he was armed. I wonder who that madman was? We'd be foolish to think the same thing counldt happen again these days. Great story, Dave and good storytelling. On a different note; just yesterday I was on a flight from Albuquerque to Phoenix en route to Minneapolis and flew over the Superstitions and identified Weaver's Needle. I've been in the Sups before but had never flown that flight path and it was a real treat to observe the area from above. It made my day and fired up my imagination. Thanks.
ive heard a few other stories very similiar to this here on youtube some are pretty un believable but some were by people who had nothing to gain from making up a story theres even a couple of old videos here youtube showing actual encounters that would certainly be scary to go thru in real life if your gonna go out into the desert during the day or during the night take a gun with you animals certainly can be threat so need to explain that people can be threat too it seems the deserts are havens for for criminals homeless people as well as the mentally ill while most arent dangerous there are people that can be just take your gun its better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it
WOW, If that guy tried to kill me come morning I would have secretly watched him to see where he went... and than paid him a visit at night. I definitely would have video recorded him or took his picture come morning.
Appreciate you keeping the stories flowing. Thank you
Thx

That's demonic possession.
How come its aways stories, mysteries, and unexplained nonsense ? No facts at all. I say move on from the Superstitions and try somewhere else.
You have clearly not watch many of the episodes on this channel.
These scam stories
I've heard tales of gold fevered miners who went mad looking for the gold.
