People like to highlight our cringe, while completely ignoring all our talented artists, musicians, and writers, who just casually pumped out a huge extended universe, a truly absurd amount of incredible artwork, and enough great music to supply an entire hundred-channel satellite radio service.
We have enough incredible fan-made pieces that we actually have to curate it. Some of our fanfics even got hardcover publications. Fallout Equestria was so popular at its peak, that the derivative artwork, music, and fanfics rivaled the total output of other fandoms. Think about that. The best possible fanfic from any other fandom is easily beaten by a middle-of-the-road fanfic of Fallout: Equestria, which is in and of itself a fanfic. The micro-fandom around FoE outperforms other full-fledged fandoms by a wide margin.
We're truly spoiled by the content people in this fandom produce.

4:35 this is for me the most emotional part of the song because all the time when the main theme started, most of the people hated it, it was the same and a little irritating, but now this is the moment you REALIZE ITS THE LAST TIME you’ll ever hear it in the show, and as the serie started, it ends as well with those last beats of the song

(late reply but) imo, tv shows/series that has gone too long will lose its charm sooner or later and it would be really upsetting if the company/studio/corporation tried to run the show longer because they will run out of ideas. if it was run for too long the show would become bad overtime, but I think hasbro ending the show on season 9 is a wise move. I'm as sad to see it go too but like I said earlier, I think it's best for the show.
Nothing is permanent but the show start with a book opening,and finishes with a book closing,a book can be read multiple times and you see details you haven't seen the first time or just relive the experience

The day when I heard FIM is ending in October was the saddest day of the year. FIM did a lot more than simply lived for 9 years. It nurtured the most beautiful and inspiring community of the Net. And I found out that it will pass away only a year or two later without its show. Fandoms don't tend to live long after their cores are gone, yet for some reason, people always believe their fandom is going to be the one living on. The only two good things I saw about it at the time is that S9 was going to be something amazing regardless if there will be new seasons, and that in October the fandom will shine once more before fading, as bright as it used to in its golden age. I had nooooo idea.
The year was also one of the most inspiring and enlightening in my life. Now I believe. It's just how Rainbow sings: "Long we are still together
We will fly happily."
It doesn't cease to amaze me how wise a girly cartoon can be.
The difference is that we tend to keep music especially the Community Albums right now are stronger as never before. Ponies At Dawn, Equinity, aSoS etc.
Ps. Gen5 may bring back frrsh air and people with it so nothing bypasses yet
With so many fandoms there isn't as great of physical representation, unlike this community. There's still conventions going (just unfortunately canceled this year due to certain circumstances), there's still tons of artwork a day, more videos and animations nearly every day, and fans re-watching the show together. We're far from dead ^.^
Yeah, not many people appreciate this show thinking that it’s just for girls. Remember that epic battle in the finale of season 4? That was a really cool scene imo.

I miss this show so much.. It impacted my life more than any other piece of media, and there may never be another that comes close. I enjoy g5, but it's just not the same as g4. Man it's hard to believe that this show was running for 9 to 10 years. This was possible the best generation ot mlp to ever exist. If gen 5 ever comes I have high expectations. But this show holds a special place in my heart because I remember watching it really long ago, since the Xbox 360 and playstation 3 days. This really puts a smile on my face, this show taught me more about friendship then any other show or parent. The show may have ended, but the fandom will forever continue even stronger then before.
We saw her almost fail her entrance exam.
We saw her when she hardly had any friends.
We saw her when she restored Princess Luna.
We saw her when she defeated Discord.
We saw her when she defeated Chrysalis and her changeling army.
We saw her when she freed the Crystal Empire from Sombra.
We saw her become an alicorn princess.
We saw her defeat Tirek and become the Princess of Friendship.
We saw her free Our Town and take Starlight Glimmer in as a pupil of her own.
We saw her open a school of friendship.
We saw her defeat Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow.
We saw her become the ruler of Equestria.
We saw her entire journey.
But she couldn't have done it without her friends.

MLP:FIM (October,10 2010 - October,12 2019). I have heard this song soooooo many times may it be in the form of a remix or a PMV or the episode itself and I cry every time. 9 wonderful years of friendship and adventure. Yay! MLP you rock woo hoo!
I miss the fandom, but I sure as Tartarus got my time’s worth having been in the fandom from early 2012 until the show ended.
It was Discord who piqued my interest from a random clip of him in the glass window dancing to “everyday I’m shuffling” here on UA-cam. “What show is this from?” I didn’t even know he was from MLP or that there was a new gen show that had been going for about a year.
I checked in and commented on Equestria Daily every day for years as it was the go-to for show discussion and fan-creation news as well as many links to watch the show if you didn’t have the cable package to watch the show otherwise. Just following that site and you had a finger on the pulse of the majority of the fandom.
I looked at enough cool fanart over the years to probably fill up my entire house!
I read EVERY popular and well received fanfic on Fimfiction I could find for years and even wrote several of my own, one of which got a featured radio-play style reading I’m still proud of called “To Be Remembered”.
I faved and watched SO many animations here; many of which have been taken down and then re-uploaded because UA-cam can go screw itself and we won’t let impressive fan content that wasn’t even making money be erased from the internet.
And don’t even get me started on the amount of great music the fandom made. I followed and faved the stuff I loved from 2012 onward and i didn’t even scratch the surface I’m sure.
Im confident in saying I was immersed with the Bronies as a fandom enough to the point that I can still tell ya near anything you want to know about a general subject regarding it and the show as a whole with fairly high accuracy.
From how the fandom felt about each of the series villains to remembering the good ol’ days when the show was a main draw along with shows like DAN VS and Transformers Prime (amazing shows btw) for the fledgling Hasbro tv channel TheHub aka “It could happen ONLY on the Hub” to how 60’s cartoon Spider-Man shitposting memes became a thing around the time the show was getting popular and the 2 frequently collided.
I love this show. It gave me a reason to feel happy in a time when a lot of people had nothing of the sort to gather around. It brought a lot of people together around something that toted friendship and happiness as not being just childish fantasies. I’ve made a lot more since then and lost some too, but one of my best friends to this day is a dude I met when he heard me humming the “Discord” song by the living tombstone at work.
I am sad that Twilight and her friends’ story is finished. Those characters felt almost like family at the end. But I’m damn glad I was there when it all happened.
I’m gonna carry that friendship.

Part of me is ashamed that I liked MLP since I was teased for liking MLP at a young age, but I’m great-full this show exist. Some of my fondest memories will be watching MLP, and talking about it with my friends. MLP played a huge part in my interest in art, and in the end it played a big part in my childhood. Thank you, MLP. You may have ended, but the fans will continue to thrive. It’s been a great 9 years.
While some people think this show is childish which is kind of true since it’s a kids show. But when your older and you rewatch the series, you realize how deep the messages are. I don’t think I would be at the art skill I am today without mlp. And I don’t think my imagination would be the same either. The fact that we will never see these wonderful faces again, that so many childhoods were this show is so sad. It's all coming to a close. From the first ever word said out loud on this show was " Once" and the last was "Grows" is so heartbreaking. Once this show was still playing on shows and many theories about it were here, it's all gone. Thousands of people loved this show so much. Seeing them all grown up and in their last stages of life is so sad. Although spike and Twilight may live for thousands of years, the others won't. Rainbow dash, AppleJack, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Pinkie pie will all die one day in their world. Rainbow Dash became the Wonderbolts leader, Applejack now forever on her farm, Fluttershy and Discord in the shelter for the animals, Rarity become a world famous fashion designer, and Pinkie pie marrying cheese sandwich and making a kid is so surprising. Thank you Lauren Foust. Thank you everybody who is a brony, a fan, a kid, or even a writer. MLP will always be something in childrens hearts.

My god those chords give me chills! If the vocals don't give me chills the weight and tension behind these chords carry so much weight with them! You never disappoint JTH and this truly is a labour of love right here, I can't get over how happy yet melancholic some of these chord sections sounds with the dissonance power at times. This truly is a flurry of emotions for all the right reasons!
This made me cry when they grew up now. And spurge to fade. I don't want them to fade yet! Pls. I want me and all my friends to be there try their world and meet them personal.
Honestly I haven't really watched mlp or equestria girls since March of 2019 but until I heard it was ending I realized it felt like my old childhood was fading away plus seeing the finale reminded me of all the tear crying and heart touching moments of my childhood 😢

Bruh this is like Red Dead Redemption 2 you know they should put an a extended credits ending while the "Table Tops by Daniel Lanois" is playing and the camera goes flying all over Equestria and all the other protagonists's last ride soundtrack from rdr plays on the credits ending also Blaze of Glory and Wanted Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi and don't forget "Stand Unshaken" and "Oh bury me not on the lone prairie"
And the ending timeline could also be set in 1907
