A real challenge to me!!!!! I need to examine my position in Christ. I've lived on too many cliches , not in obedience. I am a hypocrite, and am seeking Repentance. Thank you for your honesty and courage
Angeline,, are you really a hypocrite?? I don't think so! A True believer in Christ is not a hypocrite and I think you are a True believer you are born again and sealed by the holy Spirit! Jesus was often speaking to the Pharisees as hypocrites! They were whitewashed tombs he said that we're putting heavy burdens on people and yet saying that they themselves were perfect when they were very dirty inside! There's no repentance needed if you're a True believer you've already repented ,, in the Greek metanoia,,changed your mind and believed in Christ! Your sins are as far as the East is from the west and you are as white as snow!

Both repentance and faith go together, were the first thing that Jesus preached, and are both ongoing requirements that are never rescinded - we must continue in them until the final day. Andrew Farley doesn't believe this. He is a deceiver and an antichrist. If you want encouragement, stick with this channel. Steve Lawson is good. John MacArthur is good. The late RC Sproul is also very good.
We are saved by grace through faith in CHRIST ALONE. The finished work of the cross was enough to save you. Your obedience to Christ has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with you salvation. Thats backloading works into the gosple. Obedience is a part of sanctification and decipleship. Once your saved, the more you grow in grace and through the milk of the word, you will become more obedient to Christ. But again this has NOTHING to do with your salvation. God bless❤

Friend, that is heresy and a false Gospel and not what this video proclaims or any other of our videos. Yet often people will accuse those who teach works are an EVIDENCE of salvation, with saying that WORKS SAVE. Sorry for not answering this promptly, @hotice8885. Let me ask, though... did you listen to the first 3:15 where I said what I believe? I did not say that anyone who has been granted salvation as a free gift by the Lord would ultimately be lost. I did say, though, that many who believe will perish because that's what Scripture says. The second and third seeds in the parable of the sower are illustrations of that. They believed... but not in a way where they were given salvation because their belief showed itself to not be the true gift of God because that gift, when given by God, is irrevocable. There is a belief that saves, and a belief that doesn't. Those are not my opinions, but the testimony of Scripture. Every persons who commits apostasy had a prior belief. One could say that was not a true, saving faith and I would heartily affirm that. But as long as apostasy is a reality as shown in Scripture, there is indeed a "believing" that does not save. Thanks.

You make several points - you: 1) Feel the Holy Spirit. 2) Experienced the Holy Spirit. 3) Know God is alive. 4) Know Jesus is alive. 5) Know the Holy Spirit is alive. Statements 3, 4 and 5 do nothing more by themselves than make you qualified to be a demon because the demons know that. Now, I'm not saying you're a demon, but mere knowledge of the three Persons of the Godhead does not a Christian make. Let's look at 1) and 2). If we look at Hebrews 6:4-6, we see those people there could be just like you... and the writer to the Hebrews says they're in grave danger if they walk away. So, merely "feeling" and "experiencing" the Spirit does not in and of itself assure anyone that they are truly regenerate. Is it possible for a regenerate person to continue in the same sin they had before regeneration? Yes, but I say this with abundant caution. If they continue in the same degree and with the same frequency, I would be quite skeptical that the person is regenerate. A regenerate person has a new heart, new desires, and the ability to now obey God and not give in to temptation per 1 Cor. 10:13. However, people like you seem to be saying yourself to be putting the pornographic cart before the horse. The issue is not giving up porn, it's embracing and following Jesus because you have turned away from the direction your life was in prior to being born again. It's about repenting - which you don't say that you've done - and about trusting Christ. Repenting of ALL of one's sin is the issue - not just one. Trusting Christ in ALL of life is the issue, not just to kill an addiction to porn or whatever the addiction might be. One could also say it's about slavery - Paul in Romans 6 writes about mankind being in one of two states: a slave to sin or a slave to righteousness. A slave of righteousness, which is what Paul says about a true Christ, does not serve the master that sin is anymore. That person is "new," walking in newness of life. One never wants to be the person of whom Jesus says on the last day, "Depart from me you worker of lawlessness!" (Matthew 7:21-23). Don't focus on the past and whatever experience or feeling you might have had - the issue is today: have you trusted Jesus, turning away from your sin? Thanks.

@C. Revueltas: Thanks for watching. Clearly, the quick answer is that God declares Him to be so in the genealogies of Matthew 1 and Luke 3... but how, if He isn't a "blood" son of Joseph? Jesus was legally the son of Joseph and Mary and thus had legal rights of the line of David and Abraham. In addition, He was clearly acknowledged to be the Son of David by the people numerous times (Matt. 9:27, 12:23, 15:22, 20:30-31, 21:9, 21:15, 22:42; Mark 10:47-48, 12:35; Luke 18:38-39). All these accounts are written by men, yes, but as they were carried along by the Spirit (2 Peter 1:21), which means the statements concerning Jesus being the Son of David (which also has Messianic implications) helps establish Jesus' lineage. We also have Galatians 3, where we have multiple statements affirming Jesus being the offspring of Abraham. Galatians 3:16 says, "Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, "And to offsprings," referring to many, but referring to one, "and to your offspring," who is Christ." This is an interesting sermon,,but Let's remember with regards to believe ,, Jesus had not entrusted himself to them yet because he had not proclaimed yet that he was the Messiah the anointed one that would be crucified died and raised up for the forgiveness of sins of the whole world!! these people did not know Jesus was the Messiah yet!! it had not been revealed.. so there's no way they could have been True believers yet and that they could have been born again ,because even Jesus had not revealed it to Nicodemus yet or his disciples.. Jesus had not called people to believe in him as the Messiah.. he was pointing them to the Messiah and the father.. he was trying to open their eyes and subtle ways ,that he was the Messiah the Lamb of God.. who takes away the sins of the world! It is not untill his crucifixion death and Resurrection that they could put their faith in him as the Messiah.. Paul spells this out explicitly in many of his letters.. and that's when Paul says all who call out on the name of the Lord shall be saved he's reinferring to that they know he , Jesus had risen from the dead.. and died for their sins! Our sins.. there will be no True believers that perish..

At the same time our Bibles say "whoever believes" (John 3:16), and passages like John 6:37-40, John 10:27-28 and Romans 8:38-39are true, so is the fact that some who believe end up perishing. The people of Matthew 7:21-23 (who are really the ones who take the broad and easy way and who bear bad fruit and who build their houses on sand in 7:13-27) are such people. Seems you don't know the Bible. Jesus said there will be many believers on the day of judgement that he says depart from me I never knew you. There's a difference in beliefs. Those that were born again and given faith by God and those that say they believe but prove they were never saved as evidences by their continual unrepentant sin.

There is no such thing as God from the foundation of the world handpicking those who will be saved. Here's how it works... When God grants you repentance for salvation and you realise that you are just a wretched sinner, you put your trust in Lord Jesus and what he did for you at the cross(he shed his blood). Then you are saved. Salavtion is made in such a way that even children should understand. Then God tells you through the scripture that "I have chosen you from the foundation of the world" and partakers of the glory. Believers will never and never go to hell. Even if they are the worst sinner, if they believe the true gospel 1 corithians 1-4. They are saved. Because this salvation if not of your own unless you are greater than God(God forbid).. And after they are saved, God puts off by spiritual circumcision the flesh from the soul or spiritual side and sealed both your body and soul until the day of redemption and Paul our apostle warns us not to grieve the Holy Spirit( meaning that Believer can sometimes or everyday grieve the Holy Spirit. But dont worry if you are willing to change after salvation, God will change your life. Its like a battle between your soul and your body or flesh and you can let either side win. So fight the good fight, be always be at peace because you are saved not by works nor by from the foundation of the world election but because you put your trust Jesus and his blood, you are eternally secured. Trust God promises and always compare teachings with the KJV Bible and also believe in dispensations and rightly dividing the word of truth. Because everthing that Jesus says while he was alive was to Jews and he even commanded his disciples while he was alive not to go to the gentiles but to the lost house of Isreal. Go to Paul for he was chosen by Jesus to be our apostle and focus more on Paul writing Roman-Philemon. First of all dead faith doesn't even mean a loss of salvation, and you have no right to say they were never saved to begin with because we get saved in the twinkling of an eye. Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
That is written to let them know, you are now under grace through faith. Sacrifices can longer save them.
You cannot deliberately fall away from God, once you have the Holy Spirit, it is sealed till you are redeemed by Christ. Read 2 Timothy 2:13 - he cannot deny himself. Even Jesus said no MAN can pluck you from my Father's hand, no man means you as well.
@Johnny Don Brother you have to rightly divide the word of God. You cannot tell who is a saved believer just by their outward appearance. You think you are better and more holy than someone? That is your self righteousness, that is not a sign of a humble man. The only thing that is holy is his holy spirit, it may show outwardly or it may not, ask a person their testimony, and then you can know them. The perseverance of the saints is the tribulation Jews. If you are around for the tribulation, you were never saved!

Sorry for not answering this promptly, @hotice8885. Let me ask, though... did you listen to the first 3:15 where I said what I believe? I did not say that anyone who has been granted salvation as a free gift by the Lord would ultimately be lost. I did say, though, that many who believe will perish because that's what Scripture says. The second and third seeds in the parable of the sower are illustrations of that. They believed... but not in a way where they were given salvation because their belief showed itself to not be the true gift of God because that gift, when given by God, is irrevocable. There is a belief that saves, and a belief that doesn't. Those are not my opinions, but the testimony of Scripture. Every persons who commits apostasy had a prior belief. One could say that was not a true, saving faith and I would heartily affirm that. But as long as apostasy is a reality as shown in Scripture, there is indeed a "believing" that does not save. Thanks.

Thanks for watching. Let's look at your statement. You make several points - you: 1) Feel the Holy Spirit. 2) Experienced the Holy Spirit. 3) Know God is alive. 4) Know Jesus is alive. 5) Know the Holy Spirit is alive.
Statements 3, 4 and 5 do nothing more by themselves than make you qualified to be a demon because the demons know that. Now, I'm not saying you're a demon, but mere knowledge of the three Persons of the Godhead does not a Christian make. Let's look at 1) and 2). If we look at Hebrews 6:4-6, we see those people there could be just like you... and the writer to the Hebrews says they're in grave danger if they walk away. So, merely "feeling" and "experiencing" the Spirit does not in and of itself assure anyone that they are truly regenerate.
Is it possible for a regenerate person to continue in the same sin they had before regeneration? Yes, but I say this with abundant caution. If they continue in the same degree and with the same frequency, I would be quite skeptical that the person is regenerate. A regenerate person has a new heart, new desires, and the ability to now obey God and not give in to temptation per 1 Cor. 10:13. However, people like you seem to be saying yourself to be putting the pornographic cart before the horse. The issue is not giving up porn, it's embracing and following Jesus because you have turned away from the direction your life was in prior to being born again. It's about repenting - which you don't say that you've done - and about trusting Christ. Repenting of ALL of one's sin is the issue - not just one. Trusting Christ in ALL of life is the issue, not just to kill an addiction to porn or whatever the addiction might be. One could also say it's about slavery - Paul in Romans 6 writes about mankind being in one of two states: a slave to sin or a slave to righteousness. A slave of righteousness, which is what Paul says about a true Christ, does not serve the master that sin is anymore. That person is "new," walking in newness of life. One never wants to be the person of whom Jesus says on the last day, "Depart from me you worker of lawlessness!" (Matthew 7:21-23).
Don't focus on the past and whatever experience or feeling you might have had - the issue is today: have you trusted Jesus, turning away from your sin? Thanks.

How can Jesus be the offspring of Abraham or the son of David, if Jesus didn t have an earthly father?
@C. Revueltas: Thanks for watching. Clearly, the quick answer is that God declares Him to be so in the genealogies of Matthew 1 and Luke 3... but how, if He isn't a "blood" son of Joseph? Jesus was legally the son of Joseph and Mary and thus had legal rights of the line of David and Abraham. In addition, He was clearly acknowledged to be the Son of David by the people numerous times (Matt. 9:27, 12:23, 15:22, 20:30-31, 21:9, 21:15, 22:42; Mark 10:47-48, 12:35; Luke 18:38-39). All these accounts are written by men, yes, but as they were carried along by the Spirit (2 Peter 1:21), which means the statements concerning Jesus being the Son of David (which also has Messianic implications) helps establish Jesus' lineage.
We also have Galatians 3, where we have multiple statements affirming Jesus being the offspring of Abraham. Galatians 3:16 says, "Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, "And to offsprings," referring to many, but referring to one, "and to your offspring," who is Christ." Then, 3:29 says, "And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise."

This is an interesting sermon,,but Let's remember with regards to believe ,, Jesus had not entrusted himself to them yet because he had not proclaimed yet that he was the Messiah the anointed one that would be crucified died and raised up for the forgiveness of sins of the whole world!! these people did not know Jesus was the Messiah yet!! it had not been revealed.. so there's no way they could have been True believers yet and that they could have been born again ,because even Jesus had not revealed it to Nicodemus yet or his disciples.. Jesus had not called people to believe in him as the Messiah.. he was pointing them to the Messiah and the father.. he was trying to open their eyes and subtle ways ,that he was the Messiah the Lamb of God.. who takes away the sins of the world! It is not untill his crucifixion death and Resurrection that they could put their faith in him as the Messiah.. Paul spells this out explicitly in many of his letters.. and that's when Paul says all who call out on the name of the Lord shall be saved he's reinferring to that they know he , Jesus had risen from the dead.. and died for their sins! Our sins.. there will be no True believers that perish..
The woman in Like 7:50 believed - "Go in peace thy faith hath saved thee" Jesus had not gone to the cross yet.

Satan and his demons believe too that Jesus is the Lord...and tremble. I talk and witness to people every day who say they believe but when I ask them for there Salvation testimony they don't have one. When I ask them how do you know you are saved...they don't know... and say there is no way you can know for sure. But you can know for sure because when God grant's you repentance and gives you the gift of faith to believe the true gospel that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures he was buried and on the third day he rose again according to the scriptures..you are born again spiritually...born from above...and Romans 8:16...becomes a REALITY..the witness of the Holy Spirit...and John 1:12 is your Spiritual birth certificate and so is 1 John 5:13...I write these things to you who believe in the name of the son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. IT'S ALL GRACE!!! EPHESIANS 2:8-9.

At the same time our Bibles say "whoever believes" (John 3:16), and passages like John 6:37-40, John 10:27-28 and Romans 8:38-39are true, so is the fact that some who believe end up perishing. The people of Matthew 7:21-23 (who are really the ones who take the broad and easy way and who bear bad fruit and who build their houses on sand in 7:13-27) are such people. They are convinced they believe rightly - and Jesus says they don't because their lives prove otherwise. Thanks.
Seems you don't know the Bible. Jesus said there will be many believers on the day of judgement that he says depart from me I never knew you. There's a difference in beliefs. Those that were born again and given faith by God and those that say they believe but prove they were never saved as evidences by their continual unrepentant sin.
It even says in Job 15:15 that God puts NO trust in His saints.

There is no such thing as God from the foundation of the world handpicking those who will be saved. Here's how it works...
When God grants you repentance for salvation and you realise that you are just a wretched sinner, you put your trust in Lord Jesus and what he did for you at the cross(he shed his blood). Then you are saved. Salavtion is made in such a way that even children should understand. Then God tells you through the scripture that "I have chosen you from the foundation of the world" and partakers of the glory. Believers will never and never go to hell. Even if they are the worst sinner, if they believe the true gospel 1 corithians 1-4. They are saved. Because this salvation if not of your own unless you are greater than God(God forbid).. And after they are saved, God puts off by spiritual circumcision the flesh from the soul or spiritual side and sealed both your body and soul until the day of redemption and Paul our apostle warns us not to grieve the Holy Spirit( meaning that Believer can sometimes or everyday grieve the Holy Spirit. But dont worry if you are willing to change after salvation, God will change your life. Its like a battle between your soul and your body or flesh and you can let either side win. So fight the good fight, be always be at peace because you are saved not by works nor by from the foundation of the world election but because you put your trust Jesus and his blood, you are eternally secured. Trust God promises and always compare teachings with the KJV Bible and also believe in dispensations and rightly dividing the word of truth. Because everthing that Jesus says while he was alive was to Jews and he even commanded his disciples while he was alive not to go to the gentiles but to the lost house of Isreal. Go to Paul for he was chosen by Jesus to be our apostle and focus more on Paul writing Roman-Philemon.

Repentance (change of one's mind or feeling sorry for something). It turns you to the cross and blood of Christ. So i dont know what you are talking about. When you believe Paul's or Christ's gospel, God grants you repentance unto life. So Plz study the word before speaking or writing.
I 100 percent agree with you on this. so many people are deceived into thinking that god chooses whose gonna be saved and whose not. Or they try to "backload" works into salvation, by being "fruit inspectors" ,saying that someones not truly saved if they're not obedient or show fruit.

@beforetribulation Believers in Christ are no longer defined by their sins. Jesus blood cleanses us of ALL (past, present and future) unrighteousness, upon believing. So someone could lie, but their not a "liar". They could fornicate, but their not a "fornicator". They could even murder somebody, but their not a "murderer".
