This gives me nostalgia. Now I have been learning chinese for at least 1 and a half year and this is where I started. Thank you Joyce. You always be my starting point. She explained all so good. Also the background music is soothing and gives me nostalgia so much that now I come back to hear that voice 😭😭😭😭. I miss that stage so much when I used to say Nǐ hǎo in the correct tone, I would jump with happiness and it would train me to continue forward. To whoever reading this comment, if you are having problem in this language in the start, it's ok you'll get very nice afterwards, I wish I one day I could meet Joyce and tell her how much she means to me. 谢谢,老师

Thanks for all these great lessons!! As I'm a very beginner, I'm wondering: at 2:08, why can't I say "Wǒ shì hěn gāoxìng" instead of "Wǒ hěn gāoxìng" ? Regards
Hello, I am from Russia, I want to learn English, to speak it, can you put the automatic English translation, for these lessons, thank you😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
How come the 'H' in hĕn is pronounced completely different by the person that explains this video compared to the people making dialogue in the video? They all pronounce 'H' "normally".
Thanks for your comment, Petterson. The people who make dialogue in the video speak "hĕn" in a normal speed. However, our host speaks "hĕn" very slowly and clearly. So I feel like that is the difference you feel they are completely different.
I love this. No overloading words just keep it short and simple and easy to learn ❤

In my chinese book I learned: 认识你很高兴
Is there any difference in meaning or connotation? Or is it basically the same in just a different order?
认识你很高兴。= 很高兴认识你。They both mean the same thing.
I ❤ how she says, Hen Hao".🔥🔥
很高兴认识你。我叫 lucas。

02:15 "To know" as in "to be acquainted with someone"? Or as in "to know things" (general knowledge).
Here it means to be acquainted with someone.
很好!
我 也 很 高 兴 认识 你。
Greeting 2. Duolingo. I simply cant write "nice to meet you in chinese" 😥
thank you but I can't see the word meet in this sentence why?
Can we say "Wo ye renshi ni hen gao xing" too?
thanks
What is the difference between 高兴,快乐 and 开心?
I am learning Chinese from Kerala, India.....I am a malayalee🇮🇳
Malayali aa
Njanum
Njanum ... Chinese motham padicho?!?
Thank you!!! I from México
很好
很高兴认识你(:0 mom I did it 😻✨😃)
Crazy AI, sometimes it the r sound, but others it's the light z sound for ren which is real pronunciation of r in Mandarin pinyin 😊
My chinese friend told me that 认识你我也很高兴 makes more sense. Thoughts?
We understand the meaning of 认识你我也很高兴 . But it’s more natural to say 我也很高兴认识你 in an acceptable word order.
How to write the name? May U Lan ❤❤❤
我也很高兴认识你
你好
I love this?
Very good lesson..please keep uploading your lesson
Great

The ren is also killing me right now

Fun fact:
How to say "Pleased to meet you" in Chinese is "Cāo nǐ, báizhū"
that's both rude and racist man..
Hen qao xing ren shi ni
How come the 'H' in hĕn is pronounced completely different by the person that explains this video compared to the people making dialogue in the video? They all pronounce 'H' "normally".

Because of the pinyin on it
It's the middle tone, the teacher is trying to pronounce it slowing, but when in conversation it's seems different, but it's actually the same pro..
Dialogues 1-3 are the same thing.
background music is disturbing the attention 🙉
Why does ren sound different when it is said in a sentence?
It's difficult
Lol. Keep pushing.
My mom is forcing me to learn Chinese 😢
Forcing?
