We call them roads (dirt road)! If it's got gravel then it's a gravel road, if it's paved then it's a street, if it's paved and the speed limit is 55mph+ then it's a highway. Thank the Lord Jesus Christ for them making a road for these people. God bless you all.

I’m a West Virginian and couldn’t be prouder of our boys! The Politicians both National and Local have done nearly nothing to help the folks of North Carolina, they weren’t there to build a highway, they were there to build a road that help could travel on to the people! ❤️

Can an 18 wheeler go down the road? Can flatbeds go down to get damaged cars? Does it meet NC DOT requirements for width, grade etc? Did they randomly carve road in people’s front yards with out proper compensation or permits?

@macking104 it's a dirt road, a fresh new dirt road. Also, No 18 wheeler or any other extremely heavy vehicles like that will be going anywhere near those areas for a while yet. Paved or not. Also dirt roads are still in NC and thru out the US. Used everyday. Yes, sometimes by big rigs. The point the TT user was making was this, WV Boys went and built a stable road, a dirt one, where as FEMA and all others had to wait for the red tape, planning and money. This road wasn't meant to be permanent but to allow easier access to that area quickly and for it to be stable. It so far seems to be doing the job, even if it's just a dirt road.

I have seen a video here on UA-cam about the West Virginia Boys helping here in NC. Sheriff of Bat Cave, I saw a video of a woman who was visited by a Sheriff. He had a brown, old thrift store looking uniform that said sheriff. He had glasses, red hair and a red mustache and small beard. He was seen arresting a woman and taking her children for no reason other than the woman's house was in bad condition from the flood. Something fishy going on. Please look into it. There are underground facilities there and he may have came up from below ground looking for children for nefarious purposes. His eyes were dark with no light coming out of them like most people's eyes.

So he is saying old roads that were built-in the days of our forefathers away from the river should not be used it used to once a road always a road. But One rich person in the neighborhood can buy all your God giving Rights to live free and simple. No one should be able to block anyone from getting to their land. So what the sheriff is really saying that peice of land below the people on the Hill is worth more than human life. Well since they had no type of road and wouldn't have gotten one for many months; the WV Boys made one; a stable dirt road. It isn't a path but a road. The Mountains will have a lot of dirt roads shortly and will be used for a long time. It takes time to make a paved one. Dirt roads have been around NC for a long time. Fortunately, NC is funded enough to make almost all dirt roads paved now; and Charlotte and other major cities forgot about them. Thank you WV Boys! 🇺🇲❤️🤍💙
