I am from Nigeria 🇳🇬 and I think he's one of the best African Artist to ever emerged. As for parting thoughts and lessons drawn, I come face to face with the fact that Winky D is nolonger just a musician. He's become a phenomenon, a principle, an idea. He's become an event in time. A circumstance in our history. An experience.
I argue that he has resigned from impressing and now he's just expressing. He's just become much harder to predict. This time he exchanged Queen for Queen and the entire board has been shaken.
His surging admiration seems to have a lot to do with his somewhat cryptic but unflagging character that's only starting to dawn on many of us right now. His fans nolonger just consume his music but they also absorb his nature.
