I download in 1080p and use xmedia to "copy" from mkv to mp4 thus not losing any of the original quality! youtube still compresses the shit out of it tho. oh and I'm careful not to go crazy with color correcting bc 1. I just prefer a cleaner look and 2. the more nuts you go with color correcting the more likely it is for the video to look deep fried on youtube
