Oh my word, but I do love your boats. One day, one day... I was wondering around your wharf during the Crick weekend. Again! Congratulations on your award: thoroughly deserved and never really in doubt.
There are For and Against arguments between Lead Carbon and Lithium but LiFePO4: Lithium batteries are proving without doubt to be the ones to go with. The only problem being is cost. If money is no object then LiFePO4: Lithium are the batteries you need.
Alot of the canals were dug by manual labour over a few hundred years, and along with the many locks, are only wide enough for a narrow boat. Alongside most, if not all, is a "tow path" that prior to mechanical power horses walked along towing the boats. With over 2000 miles of canals being excavated by back breaking labour they only made them as wide as was necessary! The canals, of course being level aside from the locks, the "tow paths" are now very lovely bicycle or walking paths. When steam trains came along with their much higher speed, allot of the canals were left to nature and/or filled in. Its a beautiful thing to see some of them being rebuilt and all of them repurposed towards recreation. Its a truly lovely quirk of the British countryside.
I guess the draw to them is that being 6ft 11 inches wide means that they can explore all of the English and Welsh waterways as long as they aren’t longer than circa 58ft
This might be my favorite boat so far,....it ticks all the boxes for me, nice job!!
Another amazing job done well done lads
Lovely boat. I always wonder where those lift-outs get stored when they're not in the windows. Hope your cold goes away soon 🙂
Nice boat - why Lead Carbon and not Lithium (Lifepo4)?
What is the blue paint colour called?
WoW !!!!!!

If only my wife would leave me ! 😁. The only way I would live if I came back to the UK.
Bet that light strip suffers heat exposure above that oven door.

A lot of spinning in this video. Not pleasant to watch.
Nice boat. Hope the owners are delighted.
Love the boats don't understand the draw to them being Canadian and having much wider and faster boats
