Keep yourself spiritual Your voice and your musical talent are gifts from the Highest. Don't let anyone control them, or you, just for financial gain. May you be blessed always.
You can leave out the adjective "secular" and your post still makes sense. The hard but undeniable truth is that envy, fear and greed exist in all cultures and among all peoples. And religious belief does very little to diminish that reality. The good news is that love, affection, respect and meaning and can also be found among all cultures and peoples.
