Vocals (definitely also instruments) are overproduced. I know they are live. But it looks synced post production. I hope they don’t quantize tracks at least. Overproduction can make things funkier for sure, but it’s clear that they don’t care about the live performance they want allure idiots that know nothing either about music or production.
It's amazing what jazz & funk drummers can do with those stripped-down kits.
Don't need anything more than a hat, snare, and kick to make a groove.
