Wow that's an impressive unit I'd look at that when my flysky is full some of the features are very enticing cruise control on every model especially boats would be awesome, a sensitivity dial for the gyro is fantastic I'm paying about $35 for 4 channel receivers each 8 channels are about $54 each so cheap receiver's is a big deal with that many models great video mate nice work 👊
So far I am really impressed with it and even with all the stuff on it has it is very easy to navigate and figure out. I had not thought of cruise control for the boats but that would a be nice feature for them. Set it to cruise and just pilot away much like the real things. I will get the follow up videos done as soon as I can. Take care Mark and have a great day!
Hey Addam, oh wow! what a great radio set, so many channels to use and a massive model memory ! 😉😀It seems that RadioLink & FlySky are really taking it to each other. I have the FlySky GT5 and the RadioLink RC4GS (updated version with 5 channels) and both are super radios, this RC8X takes it to another level, that touch screen is amazing. I believe that RadioLink and DumboRC are sister companies and most units are made in the DumboRC factory. Awesome radios, thank you for showing us 😉😊😊Have a wonderful Sunday, best wishes to you and the family 😊😉
It is a really cool radio and has more features than most new automobiles! LOL! Even with having all the bell and whistles it is very easy to navigate and understand! I have thought about the Noble radio in the past but honestly I like the more traditional look to the one. The Noble always looked fragile to me and this seems like it is just more old school rugged. The screen is my biggest concern on either as it is the heart of the whole system so I will be using the lanyard! LOL! I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can! Take care John and I hope you are having a great weekend!
Ooooo 😳, That's a great radio Addam!👌. 200 model's is great. I know you suggested checking out the user manual but just a quick one, the row of square symbols across the screen above the timer and telemetry are they to direct access the functions like ABS , Steering Stability etc ?, if so that's a really nice touch. What a great radio Addam. There's so many functions we like on it👌. Great unboxing and tutorial mate 🏆 and well done Radiolink for coming up with such a great radio. Thanks for your great video Addam and a big hello from Ingrid and myself 👩🤠🦘🇦🇺
It is a really cool radio and it is smarter than I am but is easy to use so that in itself is a great feature! The row of icons are there to quickly show if features like ABS or channel mixing are enabled. Once enabled the icons turn blue and those that are not are left as they are. Just a way for you to be able to glance down and see if things are on or off quickly. You do have to go into the menu or click one of the assigned buttons to turn them on or off. Should could set channel 8 to enable or disable the steering mix and if you were not sure which it is set to you can glance down and see if it is on or off easily. great for thing like 4 wheel steering on a crawler and you are in a position you need to make sure your next move is the right one! So many features and setting I have barely scratched the surface with it yet! I am liking it a lot so far and the ease of use is great! I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can! Both of you take care and best wishes!
@@AddamsPlayground Awesome I get what you mean Addam, that is a good idea for a quick check of what's on or off. Thanks for explaining that. We're looking forward to seeing the FPV too!. I think you'll be finding new functions and features for a while, that's great. Thanks mate and regards from us both 👍
That radio is absolutely nuts! In a good way! Lol! The amount of stuff you can do with it, at the price point it's for sale at is just bananas. Radiolink has got my vote! Great review, Addam!
It is so loaded with features and adjustments it is mind boggling! Thankfully it is very easy to navigate and figure things out. I really want to play with the voice alerts and play with the FPV part! I will get the next video up as soon as I can! Take care bud!
Excellent transmitter! I have been using this transmitter for close to a year now and it has worked flawlessly! So many great features and so easy to program and operate. Thanks for the review and analysis on this first class transmitter. I also purchased additional receivers to install in some of my other rigs, some of which include 4 wheel steer. FPV has also been a very cool feature which I have used occasionally. Hope this helps!
I really like how it has an intimidating amount of features and settings but it is very intuitive and easy to navigate. It is way smarter than me but doesn't make me feel dumb using it LOL! I am looking forward to trying the FPV and experience a lot of the other stuff like the 4ws mixing and all that too!
it is a really cool radio and I will get the next couple videos recorded and out as soon as I can. Lots of stuff to still learn with it but it is very intuitive so i think I'll be good!
Hi Addam very good Tutorial you did on this Radio and it´s amazing what modern Radio´s can do nowadays. I have around 35 cars in my collection so it would fit to me having just one Radio. The downside for me with the Trigger Radios is the lack of control in my case. In the middle of the SRC of Fil my Trigger Radio packed up all togehter and fortunatly I had a Stick Radio on hand and I felt more comfortable with it. But that´s just me never mind it´s a great Radio with amazing Features. Take care.👍
I have run sticks in the past but other than my 2 tanks and my big rig I use the trigger style on everything for a long time! I know it is a comfort and almost instinctual feeling after running a certain type for many years so I totally get it. I know there are flight radios that have this level of features but I don't know enough about the stick radios to know if anyone is making a surface radio with as much.
Thanks! I don't want to make a newcomer or someone with just a few fun-haver cars and trucks feel like they are not "doing it right" by having a couple RTR radios or a less expensive radio. Not everyone has a need for a 200 model radio that has all the bells and whistles. Sure it is a great thing to have but I used RTR radios for many years and was completely happy!
I is full of features and has more settings and adjustments than I will ever use! I will learn more about it as I use it but the initial impression it is very impressive.
Oh my gosh! ELECTRONIC TOYS! If I had something like that, I would probably spend more time playing with the radio than I would with the RC car. I only have about 15 models (maybe I’ll get more) so the Flysky FS-GT5 I am using now works pretty well, it even has gyro available. If I ever get ahead on my bills I might look into something like that. I look forward to the next part of your review.
Yes, I has so many things! The great thing is it is all really easy to use and easy to navigate. I was a little worried it was going to all be over my head and I would struggle figuring it out but it is very simple to use. It will also work for just about anything and everything you may have from crawlers to fun runners to race cars or some oddball custom thing with 4 wheel steering and 5 other gadgety doo-dads on it!!! LOL! I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can!
I think you will like the Radiolink RC8X it has a lot of features and can be customized any way you want and can pretty much control any function you want on a RC. I have 2 of the RC6CS (one for me and the other for my daughter) when she come over and have all of my 8th and 5th scales on them both. I really think the RC8X is great for anyone who has more then 20 RC. It will be awesome to see the next two parts of your review of this Radio. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.
You are right about that, I cannot think of anything else they could have added to all the features and adjustments. More than I will probably ever use but it is nice to know I won't be held back by it, just my sloppy driving LOL!!! I have looked at several different ones over the last year or two. This, the Noble and a few others but could not commit to jumping off the Spektrum wagon. So I am thankful to them for that nudge too! I may still end up getting the Noble at some point to compare the two of them. I know both have a wide variety of features so it would be cool to compare them. Take care and have a terrific week my friend.
It is a really cool radio and it is something I still have some catching up to do as well! So many cool features and adjustments, I have a lot to learn but good to know I won't be restricted by needing something better.
It is a really cool radio and probably a lot smarter than me but it is easy to use so at least it does not make me feel dumb! LOL! I found it very easy to navigate and get setup! I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can!
It is a really nice radio and far more sophisticated than I am! LOL! I am looking forward to trying the FPV setup out as well. I have some adulting to do this morning but hopefully after that I may be able to get it all set up and out for a test run. It should be pretty neat and something completely new for me!
That micro receiver is definitely one you can fit into just about anything!! Thankfully I tend to stay out of the water, mostly as I hate cleaning them up afterwards! LOL! I do have a bottle of conformal coating here if I want to get make sure it is waterproof! I bout it a year ago and still have yet to actually use it! LOL!
I have looked at several of the lower models several times but was so married to the Spektrum stuff I just stuck with them. I have been eyeing this and the noble for about a year now as a replacement but without anyone around having one it was a scary purchase to make. It is a very cool radio and way smarter than me but very easy to use and navigate so I don't feel dumb trying to use it! I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can!
Good video, I can see this video being a good fit for a lot of folks. I ALSO think the case is AWESOME! The quantity a manufacturer would produce would probably make them fairly cheap on a production cost basis, so I think ANY mid level to high end radio should come with something like that...that case is a pretty nice touch, as is the lanyard, and I think ALL radios should have a spot to hook up a lanyard. The ability to zero a trim by pushing the trim tab like a button is SLICK! Menu seems pretty well laid out, and it looked like it fired up almost instantly. I may have to try one of these just because, especially if the USB would allow it to be used for VRC. I also am not sure I want a touch screen radio, but this would be a good way to test that. Going to look into this radio more now because of your video... Thanks as usual for the content! Cheers! On the topic of Spektrum, I too have some older Spektrum radios that we still use on some cars. One benefit of having more than one radio, with various cars on different ones, you can drive that many cars at the same time, with kids, friends, etc... My son and I also have newer DX5 Pro radios that we use for our race radios right now. I wonder how this would compare to some of the other radios for speed/latency for racing? It's nice that some radios have 20 model memory, or 250 or..... I've wondered for years, with memory chips being so small and cheap these days, why don't ALL computer radios have HUGE model memory, aside from selling more radios I can't think of a reason. This thing does have some cool features, and I see it being a great fit in a lot of cases. I have sooooo many Spektrum recievers that I can't imagine buying anything else unless I thought it would help my son in his racing (he's WAY faster than me, I'm WAY slower than pretty much any radio could help...lol)
I am glad you enjoyed the look at it and it is a very nice radio! The case it very nice and I do like it is fully padded all the way around to fully protect it. I normally don't use lanyards but I don't ever use a radio this nice so the lanyard is going to be used all the time going forward! The Radio is compatible with VRC, I have not tried it yet but I do have the game on steam so I will trying it out. It has been a year or more since I have played it. Before I had to have a receiver dedicated to hooking it up to the computer to run it and no it is just hooking it up to the PC with the USB cable so a lot cleaner and I am not having to hold a receiver back just for the game, one of the reasons I quit playing it. I do like that trim zero feature. I have gone the wrong way a million times or adjusted the wrong one equally as much and being able to instantly reset is cool. Yeah, the one draw back to having everything on one radio is both the lack of ability to drive multiple cars with friends and also the issue if something does go wrong with the one then all you cars are down until it is fixed. I still plan on having the Spektrum ones around but since they are all filled up mostly I can start adding the new ones to this and converting a couple I want the faster response or additional channels over to it as well. I think you hit the nail on the head with the restrictions on model memory on most radios is to sell more radios! You are right with the size and price of modern storage cards all mid-level radios could have hundreds of models stored on them. I think this type of radio suits you guys well, running both fun cars and racing it fits both sides very well. Check out their site for all the details on the speeds, I know it is fast, but cannot recall off the top of my head. I want to say like 3ms when using some of their receivers but don't quote me on that! LOL!
It is a really nice radio and I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can!
It is really neat and so far very easy to navigate and figure out. I still have about 738 features and settings to try out still! LOL! I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can!
Yeah, not a inexpensive one but it is one you won't out grow for a very long time if ever. I get it though, committing that much to a controller is a lot especially when you think you can add another kit or two to the collection instead!
It is the nicest radio I have ever had the chance to hold. Very easy to navigate and has more adjustments and tuning abilities than I will probably ever use but it is nice to know I am never going to be limited! I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can!
I reviewed a Radiolink controller a few years ago. They are really good. Just unfortunate that they are still kinda unknown because they make some very good stuff
I know a lot f folks use them on crawlers and I saw a good amount using them in the speed runs this year. They really went all in on this radio though, I don't have anything with this many bells and whistles, even with all 4 of my "good" radios combined! LOL!
Hey Adam great vid. Just realized I had not subbed during the SRC. But I am now. I hope to try out that radio in the future but I’m looking at the new up and coming radios for RC Planes. 👍🏾
No worries, I just subbed back to you as well. So many folks in the SRC it is hard to keep track of everyone! This is a really cool radio and I still have a lot of things to learn about it but it is really easy to use and navigate. I am looking forward to trying out the FPV part of it.
Great review Addam,a great bit of kit.....especially for someone like yourself!😂 Expandable memory for up to 200 cars you say? You may need more than one handset mate!!😂😅🤣 Way too technical for me though.....the man thats still rocking the acoms techniplus mk3s,and Futaba attack R's!😅 Although like you say,its getting silly now with so many remotes(and expensive in AA batteries)😮 I have recently stepped up to 2.4 though ,and am enjoying the extra functions, well, the ones I've actually been able to work out! And the flysky one i got does up to ten cars which is ideal for me as the bulk of my collection are shelf queens! Interesting to see what the high end stuff is capable of here though mate, maybe one day!!😊 👍 👍 👍
It is a really cool radio and has more features and settings that I may never even use. It is nice to have a lot of them, once you get used to sub-trim and all that you get a little spoiled! It is really easy to navigate and figure out. I am sure you would figure it out very quickly. I think with the 200 model memory I won't need a new one for a few months at least! LOL! I will get the next parts out soon! Take care my friend and have a great weekend!!
So far I am really impressed with how easy it is to use. The proof will be in the pudding when I use it for a while and see how well it all works. I am looking forward to trying the FPV mode and playing around with the gyros. Both of those are new to me!
Great radio Addam. Looks like they are taking a page from the fly sky noble 4pro. I have used the noble for years and upgraded to the pro when it first came out. It also does 8 channels. Great to see the market reacting to fly sky’s release. Hope it works out great for you.
I had thought about getting a Noble in the past, they just look much more fragile to me. I have never held one and I imagine they are pretty tough or I would have heard a lot of complaints. The more traditional style of this one make me feel it is tougher. Although they both have the Achille's heel of the big touch screen that is damaged is going to cripple them both so I am sure they are one fairly equal playing fields. This thing is smarter than me but it is easy to use so it doesn't make me feel dumb so that is a big plus! LOL! I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can!
It really is pretty slick and more adjustments and features than you can shake a stick at! Thankfully it is all easy to navigate and use, I know it is smarter than me but I am glad I don't feel dumb using it! Believe me, I know all too well getting married into a brand like that! I had been looking at possible alternatives for a while, this and the Noble were at the top of the list. The one that came out earlier this year all on the open source platform sounded really cool but I quickly found out it was not the easiest platform to use and took a long time to get used to so I am glad I ended up with something much more user friendly! I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can!
Nice review there Addam, it looks like a great radio and I've been looking at it for a while as a possible buy. I certainly have enough cars now to justify the storage space and some of the features. I currently use a Flysky GT5 which to be fair is pretty good and is serving me very well, although somethings that I can adjust on it are not the easiest to do. I'm not sure how much benefit you might see on your track with the gyro, will be interesting to see though. I think it would be more beneficial on long straights and speed running where you need to keep a nice straight line. Look forward to seeing your results 👍
So far I am very impressed with it, it is way smarter than me and has more adjustment capabilities than I will probably ever use but with all that it is very easy to navigate and figure out! So smarter than me but doesn't make me feel dumb, that is a great feature in itself! I think it fits a few people's needs, folks like us with too many kits so the model storage is a huge seller. Also the folks that only have a few kit but have both have bashers and race kits that can benefit from all the speed and adjustments. And lastly the folks that have a growing collection and sick of all the RTR radios and are looking for a long term solution to all the clutter. Yeah the gyro would have helped in the speed run car but I am not looking to go fast anytime soon really! I have a funsie one I need to run in but that is with the cheaper RTR budget bashers so this won't be apart of that anyway. I am hoping it does help me in not spinning out in the corners as the gyro reaction time may be faster than my own (not hard to do now). I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can!
It is way smarter than I am boy you can tune it eleventeen hundred different ways to get you car/truck running just right! I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can!
@@IowaBudgetRCBashers For a regular car you are going to use a minimal amount but being able to quickly and easily setup all the endpoints perfectly and the sub trims on things it should be really nice. Things like the 4 wheel steering mixing and other channel mixing is stuff you will only use occasionally but it is really nice to have when you do need it!
Absolutely love this radio the way it's set up is awesome very easy to understand ! But please don't use it for speed runs and racing I mainly use mine for crawling . They do have problems I didn't believe it Int'l it happened to myself also I had glitches one day even doe it was working fine 5 minutes earlier . And another day I had a runway on my racing buggy ( yes fail safe is set correctly ) . For racing and speed runs I use the RC4GS it's a dinosaur compared to this but it works flawless . Flysky noble is the one to get if you want a lot of stuff on the budget. Take care and stay safe. BTW you won't be able to drive around the house on FPV it cuts off at short distance and it's very glichy sorry for the heads up 😊
Good to know, I will get it tested and see if I have any of the same issues with it. If I do I will be sure to let everyone know! I have been eyeing this or the Noble for some time as I know it is only as matter of time before the obsolete the cheap Spektrum receivers I am using for the others, I refuse to pa the inflated prices for the real ones!
@@AddamsPlayground also check out the range dropping like abou 100 yard's very fast you will see this on the screen . Like you said and myself I like the idea it's not hard to operate but the range and random glitches it's a real shame
Right on welcome to the Radiolink world. Run their 12 channel on my planes. one spot at the field all the Spectrum fliers get a glitch or a hit. Radiolink and Radiomaster nope. This would be my next racing radio and retire my mt4. Love the receiver prices (even the plane ones). If it helps I think the gyro can easily be turned off from radio. Or easy at the receive. So you could od an apples for apples on the 1 Tamiya back to back? Also the little 4 channel receiver. Thingaverse has a 3d print file someone made a small case for it. It be just like dropping a receiver board back into a plastic case like normal. Or do it in TPU for a little shock resistance. If wanted to use, easy mount into a bigger car.
So far I am very impressed with it and I have barely scratched the surface of all the features! The biggest thing I appreciate so far is it is way smarter than me but it is very easy to navigate and understand! More settings and adjustment than I'll even need probably but it is nice to know I shouldn't ever be restricted by anything. You are correct and I can use just the one car for the gyro testing. I am new to the gyro world, been running by the seat of my pants forever so I was not even thinking about being able to turn it off! Told you the radio was the smart one in this relationship LOL!!! I think since both cars were ready to go out for their track runs I would pit them against each other but it would not be a true comparison as they are a bit different overall. Thanks for the tip and saving me some time! More than likely the mini RX will go into a small platform where the size is beneficial but it is good to know there are printable cases for them. It is such a wee little guy! Take care and thanks again for the help!
From my limited experience with it I am really liking it. How are you liking yours? I am sure all the adjustments really help fine tune it. Are you using a sperate gyro or are you using the gyro in the receiver?
Last I can't wait to see parts two and three I would buy this radio except all my receivers are Traxxas and I use the telemetry to tell me how hot the motor is getting
Yeah, I understand. Like al things it may not fit everyone's needs or budget and with the bashers knowing a motor temp is a great bit of feedback! I have been "seat of your pants" driving forever so a lot f these features are going to be all new to me! LOL!
You are going to love the Radiolink gear! I use it in everything I have, for the most part. I have been REALLY happy with them; never had any problems with signal or delay, etc. I do not have the fancy RC8X transmitter yet...still using the older v2 & v3 6 channel model.
I have looked at the other models from them but none ever drew me away from the life I am stuck in with the Spektrum radios! I have been eyeing this and the Noble for about a year but had not made the jump! I may end up still getting the Noble at some point to compare the two. Maybe once I have this one full figured out!
I have looked at several and the Noble is one I still may get. I have heard a lot of good things about them. The only other FlySky radios were their lower end ones and they were ok but pretty laggy. I know the Noble is more than fast enough.
I wish I could say, I have not even seen one of the Noble radios in person yet. I may end up getting one to compare but it will be after the holidays before I am spending money on me again. The biggest noticeable difference is I prefer is the classic styling of it. The Noble just looks fragile by design whereas this has the more robust looking frame but I am sure both are built tough, that is just a strictly visual call.
What do you mean not interested? I never got one or really any other brand as I was just hooked on the Spektrum stuff since I had so much of it. I just kept getting them as it was what I know and had a bunch of compatible receivers for. I do not think it has speed telemetry built in but if it is ever added it would just be an update to the radio to get it working.
Are you talking about the radio functionality or the FPV part. I have heard of folks complaining about the FPV not having a great signal and loosing communication but have not heard anything about regular signal loss.
Not to entertain your jealousy but you deserve a response.... Since I started this channel I have made about $3500 from it and I have spent about 10 times that to provide free content for folks to enjoy. I am sorry you don't put in the time and effort into creating videos and building a community around all of it and occasionally get a free product to do a review on. You make your situation better, don't go around complaining about not getting things for free if you are not putting in any work to get yourself to a place where you can. Yes, I am very blessed to be able to buy RCs but I have busted my rump for decades to get to the point I am to be in a place where I can afford to do this. I get it is natural to be jealous of "content creators" getting freebies but what would entice a company to send a $300 radio to someone that is not making videos all the time and has made a channel people are watching. I never thought I would be doing this and never thought I would be on the receiving end of getting free products but after 4 years and grinding away here I am. I take offence to you complaining about it and would love to see you one day getting the same type of responses from viewers but I doubt you are willing to put in the effort to get to that point based off of the pointless and whiny comment.

Awesome I get what you mean Addam, that is a good idea for a quick check of what's on or off.
Thanks for explaining that. We're looking forward to seeing the FPV too!. I think you'll be finding new functions and features for a while, that's great. Thanks mate and regards from us both 👍

Great choice, Addam. Thank you for the presentation.
it is a really cool radio and I will get the next couple videos recorded and out as soon as I can.
20:10 won't get that kinda honesty from most product reviews. I appreciate this comment.
I’ve had my eye on this one since it came out. I have the 4 & the 6. Both great radios. This one looks great too
I is full of features and has more settings and adjustments than I will ever use! I will learn more about it as I use it but the initial impression it is very impressive.
Great to see the details of the radio. Very nice.
Thanks Trey, it is so loaded with features and adjustments i doubt I will ever use them all! I will get the follow up videos out soon!
Great job! What a wonderful bit of technology. After watching your explanation I realized I am so far behind.
It is a really cool radio and it is something I still have some catching up to do as well! So many cool features and adjustments, I have a lot to learn but good to know I won't be restricted by needing something better.
@@AddamsPlayground I am old and technology changes so fast it's hard to keep up. My old Spektrum has a 30 model memory and that's way out of date.
Nice radio, thanks Adam.
Gauranga
It is a really cool radio and probably a lot smarter than me but it is easy to use so at least it does not make me feel dumb! LOL! I found it very easy to navigate and get setup! I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can!
Interesting review on this nice radio, Addam. Particularly looking forward to see the Fpv module in action 🧐🤝
It is a really nice radio and far more sophisticated than I am! LOL! I am looking forward to trying the FPV setup out as well. I have some adulting to do this morning but hopefully after that I may be able to get it all set up and out for a test run. It should be pretty neat and something completely new for me!
Cool radio, I like those micro small receivers I give them a spray of corrosionX to make them waterproof.
LOL!
Great vid, I am looking forward to the rest of this series, Cheers!
It is a really nice radio and I am excited to try the FPV setup! I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can!
Thats pretty cool I run radiolink radios all the time this one looks awesome
I have looked at several of the lower models several times but was so married to the Spektrum stuff I just stuck with them. I have been eyeing this and the noble for about a year now as a replacement but without anyone around having one it was a scary purchase to make. It is a very cool radio and way smarter than me but very easy to use and navigate so I don't feel dumb trying to use it! I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can!
@AddamsPlayground un fortunately it have some 1to1 cars to work on just bought a 20 ton hydraulic press thays today's project lol
@@AdventureTimeRC I don't enjoy the full sized ones much anymore. Way too expensive and much more manual labor! Sounds like press in wheel bearings?
@AddamsPlayground yes sir and same here if I can't put it on the table I don't want to turn a wrench on it anymore lol
LOL!
Good looking radio.
Interested in seeing the little camera work.
It is a really nice radio and I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can!
Nice expanded look! It sure seems like a great setup!👍😊
It is really neat and so far very easy to navigate and figure out. I still have about 738 features and settings to try out still! LOL! I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can!
That radio looks great, a little out of my price range, that’s £300 here, I run a flysky GT3, and a radiolink 4GS, it’s enough for the moment!!!!!!
Yeah, not a inexpensive one but it is one you won't out grow for a very long time if ever. I get it though, committing that much to a controller is a lot especially when you think you can add another kit or two to the collection instead!
Nice radio there ! Been looking at getting one myself ! Awsome video
Great review Addam,a great bit of kit.....especially for someone like yourself!😂
Expandable memory for up to 200 cars you say? You may need more than one handset mate!!😂😅🤣
Way too technical for me though.....the man thats still rocking the acoms techniplus mk3s,and Futaba attack R's!😅
Although like you say,its getting silly now with so many remotes(and expensive in AA batteries)😮
I have recently stepped up to 2.4 though ,and am enjoying the extra functions, well, the ones I've actually been able to work out!
And the flysky one i got does up to ten cars which is ideal for me as the bulk of my collection are shelf queens!
Interesting to see what the high end stuff is capable of here though mate, maybe one day!!😊
👍 👍 👍
It is a really cool radio and has more features and settings that I may never even use. It is nice to have a lot of them, once you get used to sub-trim and all that you get a little spoiled! It is really easy to navigate and figure out. I am sure you would figure it out very quickly. I think with the 200 model memory I won't need a new one for a few months at least! LOL!
I will get the next parts out soon! Take care my friend and have a great weekend!!
That is amazing Addam!! Makes me think I need a new transmitter 😁
This looks like a great controller. I might have tried one. If I was not 30 receiver deep with fly sky lol. Good luck with your now toy!
Wow that’s an awesome radio.
It is way smarter than I am boy you can tune it eleventeen hundred different ways to get you car/truck running just right! I am very interested in running it with the FPV set as well! I may go out today with it and give it a test. I'll be getting part 2 and 3 done as soon as I can!
@@AddamsPlayground that’s exactly what I was thinking, I dunno if I could figure out how to use all those features
I have been using the rc8x for drifting with my associated dc10
From my limited experience with it I am really liking it. How are you liking yours? I am sure all the adjustments really help fine tune it. Are you using a sperate gyro or are you using the gyro in the receiver?
Last
I can't wait to see parts two and three I would buy this radio except all my receivers are Traxxas and I use the telemetry to tell me how hot the motor is getting
Yeah, I understand. Like al things it may not fit everyone's needs or budget and with the bashers knowing a motor temp is a great bit of feedback! I have been "seat of your pants" driving forever so a lot f these features are going to be all new to me! LOL!
Frsky for me ❤
I do want to try out the Noble at some point as well.
Thank you for your great video!
Thank you all for the great radio! I will be getting the other segments our shortly!
gotta be honest...team flysky 6 dollar receivers
I have looked at several and the Noble is one I still may get. I have heard a lot of good things about them. The only other FlySky radios were their lower end ones and they were ok but pretty laggy. I know the Noble is more than fast enough.
Nice radio, may be a bit to much for the average person in the hobby though.
It is more for the guys that have a lot of kits or those that both run bashers and race as well. Perfect for my ever expanding army of kits!
Do you think this is better than FS Noble?
I wish I could say, I have not even seen one of the Noble radios in person yet. I may end up getting one to compare but it will be after the holidays before I am spending money on me again. The biggest noticeable difference is I prefer is the classic styling of it. The Noble just looks fragile by design whereas this has the more robust looking frame but I am sure both are built tough, that is just a strictly visual call.
I think it's funny. You are not interested in radio link. Will you be able to tell its speed in telemetry?
What do you mean not interested? I never got one or really any other brand as I was just hooked on the Spektrum stuff since I had so much of it. I just kept getting them as it was what I know and had a bunch of compatible receivers for. I do not think it has speed telemetry built in but if it is ever added it would just be an update to the radio to get it working.
Just wait until you run into signal drop hardware issues that cannot be fixed and makes you lose control of your car.....
Are you talking about the radio functionality or the FPV part. I have heard of folks complaining about the FPV not having a great signal and loosing communication but have not heard anything about regular signal loss.
@@AddamsPlayground Not talking about the FPV part. The actual functionality of the radio.
@bombpoprc2023 ok, good to know. So far no issues but I will be looking out for any glitches
For sure they just send a radio to people who dont need it and people who dont have a lot of money have to pay for what they want.👎
@@AddamsPlaygroundif you have money enough to get so many rc cars as you have behind you, you dont need free stuff, greedy person.
