your explanation on how much the putter can help is the best I've heard. I play the Directed Force and people ask me all the time if it really works. I tell them it's definitely worked for me. The biggest benefit for me was immediate. I stopped missing putts from inside 5 feet. I've become so confident with it that I fully expect to make everything inside 10. Of course, I don't because those other variable raise their ugly heads from time to time and I'm not the best green reader in the world, but I damn sure hit my intended lines. When you can approach your putting from a position of confidence instead of apprehension, that's all you can ask of a putter.
Thank you for your comment! Happy to hear the DF is working well for you. I'm actually using the LINK.1 now and it's the best i've ever putted. Something about L.A.B. putters...
It's true about letting the putter do the work. I play a L.A.B. putter and you have to unlearn the club face manipulation you do with your "normal" putter. Once you allow the putter to swing on plane it's point and shoot!
…ish, but not a massive difference yet. The MEZZ has allowed me to really putt everything on my target from 20ft and in. BUT, that’s shown that my green reading and alignment is way, way off. So I’m now focusing on that!
Word of warning: Yes, you do need to try one first, but don't make a final judgement on trying just one. I'm lucky to live near a PGA Tour Superstore and they have a selection on hand to try. These putters are VERY dependent on being fitted for you. If you happen to pick one up that is just not the right fit, you won't like it. I've tried several off the rack. Some I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with and some I couldn't miss with my eyes closed. Get properly fitted.
The Evnroll was easier to adjust to, I felt like I was draining putts right out of the gate with that. Didn’t feel too different to other putters although I certainly felt confident with it. MEZZ MAX is more of a long term mission. There’s a teething period
For all of you who don’t know i skipped to his recent vid a few months later and it isn’t in his bag. That alone should tell you more than enough that it’s all a gimmick. If it really worked it would still be in his bag. Actions speak louder than words in a video
This and the other L.A.B golf putter are my current gamers in my bag. I change putters very regularly though. Worth asking questions rather than assuming!
This is no gimmick. The LAB Directed Force has absolutely worked for me. I'm somebody that has regularly changed and tried new putters constantly over the years. I bought the Directed Force in my bag a year ago and have not even thought about changing since. It's the real deal. Why else would anyone game such an ugly-ass putter?!?
Did you get fit to that putter because your lie angle looks way off. The toe was down in most of your shots and it looks like you need more upright lie angle. It also looks kind of short. Getting the correct lie angle is a must for these putters but once you do, they are automatic.
I did via the online fitting. Length is correct as I've been fitted several times before (I'm just tall!). Did notice that lie angle though, that's why in-person fittings are so important.
You are definitely much more upright than when we fit you for that putter! I know it seems strange but the remote fitting is way more often more accurate than in person.
Its looks really toe down in a lot of the close up putts. I would consider one if i could go to a fitting center ,but i dont trust online fitting when spending that ammount of money.
My only apprehension with the Mezz putters is around distance control. The reviews that I have read say they are great for putts of 10 feet and less (almost ridiculously so) but they struggle on the longer putts. Looking forward to hearing how you make out after using this putter for awhile especially in relation to those long putts. Good luck....
i’ve had my mezz for the better part of a year and don’t listen to those reviews. once you get used to the weight of the head you’ll be just fine controlling distance. I play in college at Midway University and my teammates say they wish they had my lag putting. i’m looking to upgrade to the mezz 1 max in an armlock coming up this semester so get the dang thing it’s amazing you won’t regret it
@@huntergraham47 Looking at armlock, broomstick or regular..Which style suits the putter that has a hard time keeping it online? I'm wiggling instead of keeping it straight back and straight through.

I would love that putter with the face of Evnroll
Quick question - what do you think of the Mezz.1 MAX vs. the Directed Force 2.1? Any thoughts on which is easier/more "idiot proof"?
3 months later ... What are the results?

Easier said than done for me so far - fantastic bit of kit but it still feels very alien
I like mine
Finally pulled the trigger and ordered one
Nice!
Really want one, but need to roll it in person before spending over £500 on one with a fancy shaft. Needs a Uk fitter
Couldn't agree more, in person is a must for the price tag but It's a superb product either way.
@@GolfmagicPlus how u looking the mezz thus far? Small difference in putts saved?

@@GolfmagicPlus have you tried broomstick style? Lots of LIV golfers are going that route....

I wish someone would import this....Total bill is what though? You have to add in delivery, importation tax.. .😉😊. What have i missed?

So did you ditch the Custom Toulon you had and put this in the bag?
I did! This is a much better weight for me and my figure of eight putting stroke, keeps it more controlled
And has it stayed in the bag? How’s the putting going…
I am coming from a toulon, just placed my custom lab putter order, I’m going for it lol!
Any Arccos data to back up that it is helping? Thanks so much for replies, and for all your videos, enjoy them very much.

Thanks David! I echo similar. Short putts I feel like Tiger Woods, longer ones I revert back to myself. We'll see how it goes
@@GolfmagicPlus So you aren't using armlock putting? what was wrong with it?
It’s in the naughty cupboard for now - too inconsistent and I started having a tendency to pull all my putts.
