Give it one chirp on the brakes and then bleed off smooth and quick. When you started to be “more controlled” on the brake you started braking earlier since you were using less pressure all the way through. Instead brake deep and just give it one chirp before letting off the brake. Ka is all about roll speed and if your coasting for 2 seconds your leaving up to seconds on the table

I was using the same amount of pressure at roughly the same point i just didnt let the kart slide out bc my coach saw it and said that it was costing me a lot of time but when i was more controlled i was able to keep the rpms up higher and the rolling speed up throughout the corner but ikwym
