I'm still torn on my smartdrive. I've had it about a month and a half. I don't have a rigid frame wheelchair and my smartdrive has come disconnected from my chair more times than I can count. If I hit a crack in the sidewalk it will come off. I couldn't go off that curb in the video because it would knock it off. It doesn't work well in the rain so I'm dreading the first snow. At this point I miss my emotion wheels!

I'm really looking forward to talking to a dealer and finding out more information about this. I'm hoping it can be covered by insurance. Otherwise, it won't work out for me. but it looks promising!

I had the original one. It was ok. Not perfect in every situation. I went to look at the new one with the bracelet type thing... Doesn't seem like it would be comfortable wearing something like that all day (to me, anyway).

This would be really useful for me but the $6k price tag is something I'd never be able to afford unless I won the lotto. (-_-)
