Great footage! Is it possible for me to use and share this footage on my youtube page? I share footage from all kind of activities on our ocean. Cargo ships in the 1960s till now, oil rigs, fishing vessels, etc. Of course full credit will be given to the owner of the footage. Looking forward to your reply. Kind regards. Cheers.
This vessel is small. And I removed youtube stabilization effect(it's bullshit), so it's not flexing anymore. Actually ships are bending during storm, but it is not noticeable to the naked eye
Thanks for posting...Great piece
in the years of 1700s, 24 navy ships from different countries capsized in this area.

🌊MONSTER WAVE - 12:43
Oh my gosh, this is incredible!
It is until you have to deal with it for 7 days straight. At that point you’d be hella sick of it in more ways than one

What was the name of this ship?
That wiper sounds like the joints in my legs and back every morning.
Took 2min to drive me crazy. Someone get the chief to fix that.
@@graham2631 A bit of grease needed for sure.
@@Oakleaf700 not a good idea to grease the glass :) This squeaky sound comes from the friction of the wiper against the glass.
@@Karkhut Of I see..I thought it might be from a squeaky joint somewhere.
@@Karkhut change the wiper blades
Watching this "Gordon Lightfoot" comes to mind......
It's amazing to me how much those large ships can flex in heavy seas.

Hogging and Sagging. that destroys the ship's keel
It's a nasty stretch in bad weather. How do you cope? Stomach sof steel? :-)
At that time in conditions like this I experienced serious seasickness. Nowadays I feel much better, got used to it.
@@Karkhut That's great/ to hear. Seasickness is horrible. I hope your seas are smooth and keep safe. :-)
How long is that ship ?
Small one - 90 meters
thanks
@@Karkhut small but the ship is stable, she could fight the huge waves of Biscay
Great captain though - no drama , just manage through conditions.
Agreed, don’t worry about the e.t.a, just get there safely
