90's-Early 2000's was the golden era of hip-hop music and hip-hop culture. Lyrics, beats, creativity, lot of emcees and groups and their own unique style.. it was styles supreme. You could turn on the radio, tv, go to clubs and true hip-hop would be there playing. Girls would roll up in their cars bumpin Gangstarr. Good times. Most (not all) of today's hip-hop is wack or soft, no creativity it doesn't excite me like the 90's did. Emcees would be ciphering on corners, at the front of record shops, schools, night clubs and parties on mics. Respect to the DJ's that killed it back then and now playing the real sh*t like here.
