Yes, the band is official and you can purchase CDs directly from them at where they perform but I'm afraid the CDs are not on the market even here in Japan so far :-( There is a studio version of "Kira" in the CD but "Iso-Bushi" is not. You can watch vids of their other songs on their own channel "yuiworldmusic". Hope you enjoy.
Thank you very much for the comment. The cameraman who is writing this is horrible but their playings are unbelievably cool, aren't they? As one of their biggest fans I just wanted to let the people all over the world know there is such a nice collaboration with western and Japanese musical instruments. I'll probably upload another vid or two of their recent performances in the near future.
Well... hopefully I will shoot them again at same place in late May. If you're strongly interested in fusion between western and Japanese traditional music, I recommend you to search "hanamas" also. Chie Hanawa plays Tsugaru-Shamisen in the band too. By the way, they entertain with not only playing their music but also talking on stage that is always so funny. If you understand Japanese language, I can guarentee that you'll hold your sides with laughter. Thanks a lot.

I'm not so familiar with the video games but I'm sure that this band played on original sound track of Final Fantasy XIII-2. The song is called "Clash on the Big Bridge"(Gilgamesh theme??). really love it! kinda feel the tsugaru solo near the end was a bit too loud and broke the mood... maybe the band should switch up the mood when she starts soloing.. still, good skillz
