Alvin’s power is unreal, and to top it off it was on-point the whole battle. Thesis’ style demonstrates subtle yet rich details. First and second round I would’ve given it to Thesis for musicality and being able to neutralise Alvin’s explosiveness with his own complex technicality. Also the fact that Alvin repeated a lot from previous rounds against others, namely air flares and air freezes. If this were top 32 or 16, then Alvin would have the upper hand. A lot of people watching seem to forget to take in this factor. Overall, quite a close battle and props to both amazing bboys.

Watch it again lol, last round Thesis tries go some power move he can barely pull up and then those unfinished moves, sorry Thesis is a legend but Alvin here was better.
For me too. In The third round, Alvin Just do 2 front step and Go to powermoves, Ok. Tries to do a transition, had a mistake and unfinished The session. Thesis correspond with original flavour in your tops, do some burns, and Go to your transitions combining Flow, conceptos with Blow up's and powermove. Do some original ground moves and finishes The round with a Clean freeze.
Alvin is a great powerhead but lacks of originality... Thesis won this battle for sure. Not all battles are won by explosive moves.

thesis's first round started so strong but it definitely dragged on a bit too long and wasn't nearly as sharp in the later half. If he trimmed off the fat at the end of the round so to speak, i feel he would of won that round. Either way great battle!
that has always been the problem with Thesis for me. He's fucking amazing at breaking. His sets are just too long some times. Even though the intricacies of his moves are so amazing, you just kinda start to lose interest.
It sure did... it lost its message of what he was trying to do. He could have shortened it and ended freezing strong.
Yeah, I felt like he has ADD or something. Just lacking big picture coherence and getting lost in the showing off aspect. I liked Alvin’s style he flowed with the beat better for me, even if thesis’ routine was more technical.

I give all rounds to Alvin. The hard work to make those moves!!! Floor and foot work is way more easy! I saw that Thesis try 1 air flare and it cost him much energy to do 1. Think of what Alvin did!
