You’re my favorite AQUASCAPER just because you’re informative and funny and actually have good tips not useless information. Keep it up and please don’t ever give up on this because eventually I know you will get more popular you deserve it.
I am personally using one of their lights for over 1 year now and I am extremely happy with the choice that I made, it's way better than a lot of the big brands, and the price is half compared to them!
EXACTLY! The only reason why it can be hard to recommend to other Aquascapers is that it can be hard to find in other countries except in some asian markets
You're a game changer bro. I'm about to spend the rest of my money to Chihiros knowing this the best, until I watched this video. Thanks for saving my life.
Yes! WeekAqua is another great option or alternative to Chihiros. LEDSTAR is another brand that I've been hearing reviews of but I haven't used them personally yet tho.
Uv actually brings out the plants colours. I switch from my chihiros to the week aqua n my red plants became red from pink. I prefer week aqua now than chihiros or any other led. Love the uv feature.
@@AquaristForFunany way to put some sort of foam spacers where the stand connects to the glass to tilt the light so that it sits more flat horizontally? It would bug me as well it not being straight
UV is most likely for fish colour. Fish colour is veeery different outside than inside. The UV from the sun makes them a lot darker, so over time it should make the fish darker.
really sorry. I wasn't able to post a proper video about my light. but here is a quick clip. ua-cam.com/users/shortshXyr0mLg3kQ?feature=share if you need more pictures or videos, I'm currently using one on my tank. Find my post on Facebook market place so I can find a way to send to pictures and videos thru messenger. If you buy it from FB maybe I can give you a discount since I wont have to pay ebay fees
I use the L series. Pretty popular light here in the middle east. I am in uae. After two years of having this light my two cons . The app is extremely crap. And the customer service is even worse. U wont find an english speaker in the whole company. Oh and 1.0 is the old module. Then we all bought or were given the 2.0 module ( a small piece of technology chip ) to install on our lights. Yes we opened the light and installed it as per the instructional video they sent.
Nice to find a Week Aqua review. I was all set to buy a couple vivid minis for my new tank but came across the Z400d Pro series on Ali express. Seems to have great bang for your buck but like anything on Ali express it's a little cryptic as to what the actual specs of the lights are. Do you have any info that would help me out on my choice? Thanks
@@AquaristForFun I don't suppose you have used the z400 model have you? I guess I'm just looking for some recommendation/advice on what you'd do in my situation. I'm guessing either the vivid mini or the z400 would grow plants (especially the easier types I'm planning in my discus tank) so it kinda comes down to going with a more unfamiliar name and saving maybe £100 Vs going with the Chihiros. The UV does kinda intrigue me too. Thanks.
Hello I just got this light and I feel that the intensity of the light is bit low. My exact model is m600 pro. I am having monte carlo and dwarf hair grass as carpet plants. My tank size is 2ft X 1.5ft X 1.5ft. This light is enough for the tank size?
Those dimensions will put the lumens per litre number around 20 I believe which is around low-medium. Go search up a lumens per litre calculator and compare that back to your plants requirements
depends on your goals. its should be enough for 90% of the setups, BUT if you aim for shorter internodal growth space for certain plants, aiming for a really red plant growth or planning to use really difficult plants then it would be better to get a light that better fits 3ft tanks, or a stronger lighting system.
@@sadeqakbari1146 am sure ull find cheaper deliveries if you look around from different vendors. Also ali express has a lot of discounts and offers every now and then.

Not to mention much quieter fan than vivid🤣.The app is not beginner friendly but u will get used to it.B2.0 module is the latest update of week aqua on their app lights.u should do a review on Pandora and a430 if u can get your hands on them.great review! Salamat.
Absolutely, it can be hard to do a proper comparison tho. WeekAqua's P series is like the longer version of Chihiros VIVID 2 which is only 45cm. Also price-wise WeekAqua's offerings are more competitive. I'd love to do a review soon.
Sorry, I don't have the same model as yours. Usually for a matured Dutch set up its either they max everything or make it look purple (which I personally find ugly)
The week Aqua lights tick all the boxes. I think they’re really awesome. Especially aesthetically speaking. I’m just a little concerned about how long the company will be around for though, if they disappear will app support continue? This isn’t unheard of. Biopod Smart Vivariums (not biorb) are more or less useless these days. Week aqua do sell cheaper non app versions though, so that’s an option. Although they have slightly less features.
Ah, I'd say its unlikely. They're originally a photoelectric company that makes aquarium led. They are 1 of 3 brands under 1 big company PLUS they are OEM suppliers. I do get your concerns tho.
@@AquaristForFun hi 👋 Well when you put it like that, I also think it’s unlikely. I tried researching them myself but didn’t find any of that. I agree there’s probably nothing to worry about. Thanks for the detailed explanation. 💚

OH! I haven't really thought of that. Yeah its a possibility. thanks 😀😮

Does it have RTC ? When a power outage happens does it remember the settings? The chihiros does not have this option. 🙁
Light doesn't right parallel to the rim of the tank. Is that due to installation and camera angle???
So much thank you, bro! Helped me to make a proper decision for nano tank
I am a bit on edge between choosing this and xima light, is it getting hot under if operating for a long time ?
no, i always have it on max, doesn't get too hot
How is this M serries conpare to the V and Z series?

Its also for plants. Brings out the pigmentation of redder plants

Hello. Does this m600 pro luminaire keep red plants and monte carlo carpet?
it should be able to make monte carlo carpet nicely. "Keeping" red plants is possible as long as you also match it with nitrate limitation.
Any wk aqua brings out the reds. I have m, l and p series. Made my rotalas super red. Even the plants that were green have a reddish hue.

Sure. I don't see why not. I do it, Other people do it as well

For 3x2x2. U shud get the L900K pro. M900k wont cut it. Unless its a shallower tank.
My tank is the Ada m 36cm. Should I get the 300 or 400?
better get the 400 for better results that is if your planning a high tech setup. the actual light bar size is shorter
