What he is saying is wrong, if you compare the drain time with and with UB you will see it does make a massive difference.

@@UNDRdog01 UE gives you 9 more seconds of dead, yes it is best paired with S.S or S.B, but to say it is bad to us with PiB is wrong. Yes LFTF is better with PiB if you are doing pvp and in and out of dead eye, but if you need to clear a hideout or large, or a bootlegger mission or just shoot a large chunk of animals in one hit UB gives you a massive advantage.
They need to give us a way where we can switch ability card loadouts without going to another screen. Give us 3 to 5 slots that we can change like outfits or something.
Totally agree with you man, I rarely pvp so I always have my pve load out and it gets annoying when someone pulls up trying to grief me and I gotta switch cards in between lol

Never tried those combo. Wish I was as excited to learn in school as I am when you’re giving us information. Not even a pvp player, but just because I like being prepared for it your videos are more relevant and interesting to me than many others’ videos.

Great video PvPCat! I use PiB, Iron Lung, NwO, and FMO.
I use pib ang gunslinger's choice together, pib not just makes the accuracy perfect it also stops the camera shake when u get shot so i use it with all weapons while i use gunslinger's choice just to make my double actions more decent.

Nice tips,as always. Sometimes i use terrible combinations but just because i am leveling the cards.(little expensive,u can make gold if u just log few minutes,but dollars i have to play longer time)

I tested out the painted black one and it seems to still reduce the time pretty significantly, it about doubles the amount of time you can spend in dead eye even with painted black. So I say it's still pretty worth it

PIB and TUE while not a good combo in combat could actually be pretty useful for hunting. If you are using a springfield, then you are only making one shot anyways, so the lower consumption of Dead eye while in use would be much more helpful and the increased Eagle Eye duration is a nice bonus as well.
Great video and very informative. However, some of the rationales assume that it only makes sense to use cards that fully complement each other based on a narrow play style (e.g., if you plan to snipe). I think a lot of people combine cards to get some benefit spread across multiple scenarios because that's typical of their gameplay, and not typical - or practical - to change builds in between.
Also don't pair Sharpshooter with Hangman, unless you can put a scope on your lasso. 8)
Your reinforced lasso didn't come with a scope mine did better talk to rockstar and claim yours.

has no one noticed the effectiveness of the "necessity breeds" card when the health core is golden or when it is greater than the bar? would it be possible to do a test to see the increase in damage with the golden core and the complete bar? I noticed that for example by eating the special Cripps stews, card becomes active, so I assume that, already basic, the damage would be increased
I use PiB and Unblinking eye together. It helps in a situations then you out of auto-lock distance or enemy in cover and only head popping out, to aim manually and deliver a headshot, while your opponent cant lock on you.
I use PiB primarily for its multi-target marking feature, so Gunslinger's Choice is still great for general gunfights.

I have settled down on this build for now: PIB, strange medicine, never without one and iron lung. The defense is solid and the "life steal" keeps me good during PVE fight. On PVP i usually change the first two for sharpshooter and peak condition (for sniper fights).
It would be nice if you could make a updated video for weapons setup. I don't know if its better to use dual saw-offs and a lancaster; or double mausers with another shotgun for example.

Was trying out Zapata headband with “never without one” It seems to activate damage reduction, but not headshot protection. Could be useful, could not be.

It still makes sense to use Paint it Black with Unblinking Eye to extend _eagle_ eye (and not dead eye).
pretty sure the hood mechanic was somewhat reworked, for example you cant re equip your hat immediately in team showdowns when your saved outfit that you're wearing has a garment set
I actually do use winning streak and eye for an eye because if I miss my headshot it’s nice to have that damage boost
From time perspective "never without one"could have more sense if, hat would have own mark on the map, sometimes during shootout you lose hat and don't know where you lost it...

We need pre set ability card slots in free roam so I can get prepared in the heat of a moment without taking a full minute to change each one individually. With 30 sec cool down of course.

I run winning streak and eye for an eye a lot. It works for shotguns, and in pvp it's not often you will get the headshot on the first shot, given how much players move, further I believe eye for an eye has been shadow nerfed because I can no longer maintain a full dead eye bar, it slowly decreases little by little with every headshot I make, even with the gift of focus I barely break even
I like paint it black and gunslingers choice because I don’t use deadeye often, but when I do it’s because I’m in a pinch and I need the perfect accuracy

I use gunslinger with pib because my dead eye deactivates on its own after a few shots sometimes and I want the pistols to have the damage and accuracy to finish the job quick. Furthermore I use to main focus fire and with gunslinger choice on that was the only way I could get an almost guaranteed headshot with a non scoped weapon (assuming I aim right lol)
my build for free roam (am lvl 571): PIB, Iron Lung, Peak Condition, Strange Medicine. Gives good damage reduction, good damage increase, and Strange is a good overall health boost as you get health from all damage inflicted - so good for fights and for NPCs and also for general combat as you still get health even if you don't get the kill shot. For PVP/free roam missions, i swap out SM for Eye for an Eye as deadeye is more important.

I usually don't use Gunslinger's Choice and PiB at the same time, Gunslinger's choice for racking up dead eye then swapping into a longarm for dead eye
I generally run Gunslinger's Choice, Winning Streak, and Fool Me Once. I do run paint it black but I actually very rarely use deadeye. If I were on console I would change this but since I'm on PC, free aim is way easier to use. I tend to prefer pistols to rifles also and generally try to get close.

@@mrmisanthropy6627 I use that loadout aswell. But it's dependent on the situation imo. It's a great build for wide open spaces but in cramped quarters PvP it think PiB is still king. I always carry my Evans and the Carcano (or bow) so I'm equipped to deal with slippery bastards like you lol.

Can't decide if the gift of focus really gives Live for the Fight a worth while increase in regen. Have you tested these two. Or the gift of focus in general since it was "buffed."

Yesterday I had the weirdest experience in rdr online.
As soon as I started a trade mission in blackwater I was teleported to Rhodes right next to a player called "wolf". Fortunately...ish I was able to kill him and run away with the wagon, BUT THEN THE SAME GUY SPAWNED RIGHT NEXT TO ME AGAIN!! That time he killed me and tossed a molotov in my wagon. I tried to report him but as soon as I said yes to "are you sure you want to report the player?" I was KICKED from the game...
Did anyone experience that already? How do I report that guy after being kicked?
I use gunslingers choice with dual navy’s you can two shot any enemy in the game and you have perfect accuracy aswell

Slow and steady, gunslingers choice, not so sure what works best for the other 2. I use a pistol, revolver combination so the express ammo doesn't run down so fast. I use the rolling block and it kills most of the time, no need for sharpshooter card. I keep a bow with dynamite arrows ready as spare weapon slot. I no longer bother with shotgun or carbine, they don't seem to work well for me. I'm leveling up other cards to suit the situation. Any idea what would be a best PVP combo to go with slow n steady and gunslingers choice or is this just naff anyway ?

People that use Gunslingers Choice and PIB use that combo to not use tonics. Gunslingers Choice and Eye for an Eye to get Dead Eye without using tonics that how I use it.

I play with mostly pib and slip users. I use focus fire with gunslinger, sharp shooter, and peak condition. I use this with a carcano and usually LeMats but sometimes mausers. I feel like any time I try to swap one of these cards out I get whooped on whereas I rock shit 85% of the time with my regular build. I like strange medicine but I feel like I lose my one taps when I swap it for anything. I'm open to advice but I'm probably not gonna take it seriously if you're only a level 150 or lower. There was a lot I still didn't know at 150 and I'm still finding things out at 300. I WOULD like to know how tf pib demons shoot through 40 feet of earth and one tap me from the other side of a hill because I used pib for 150 levels and it never did that for ME. Have you ever noticed that the images on the sharp shooter and gunslinger cards need to be swapped? The gunslinger card has a scope crosshair while the sharp shooter card has an image of revolvers?
they dont stack but will each persons card work when they use it if so can you use quicker dead eye regen and each person use alll the dead eye at once then cycle through all 4 players so the effects are non stop ?

im wondering if the level 3 stamina tonic effects Peak Condition ability card, does it make the damage stronger?
im a level 235, and i been using slow and steady, sharp shooter, peak condition and iron lung and i obliterate everyone i fight. only times i ever lose is when someone has explosives or i get ganged up on and even then i dont lose to often unless they are both using explosives.. im also always tonic'd up and have hundreds of collectors alcohol saved up. those cards all seem to work together pretty perfectly. i got lots of protection and lots of damage being dished out especially while in a scope
Slow and steady also prevents shotgun stagger, most people don’t mention that.

Good honor or bad honor it don't mean nothing online from what I understand I could be wrong. I know when in beta Rockstar would reward you for having bad honor and griefing and people I think it was a daily challenge or something . I think the honor System was for story mode because I could have good honor and you would have bad on her and you still pay the same price for Gun oil and stuff
I use two builds most of the time: (pve) Quite an Inspiration, Strange Medicine, Iron Lung, & Fool Me Once. For pvp I switch out the first two cards for Focus Fire & Peak Condition.

I swap between repeater and sniper so the extra damage when I need to swap to a sniper is helpful, repeater and sniper is the only combination I ever really use as I hate using shotguns

so why exacly is paint it black and gunslingers choice a bad choice? i use dubble action revolvers and when there are multiple opponents that are hard to hit or deal damage to its an absolute beast! so in conclusion i use the gunslingers choice for accuracy and small damage and paint it black for longer rage and dealing headshots. Im only rank 30, is there something i missed?
I think it’s because. Accuracy controls that reticle around the dot. If you shoot when the dot is wide your less likely to hit
However Paint it black does not account for this just that the static dot marks where you shoot, so it’s not synergized well
I personally only use paint it black for pvp since everyone does and it’s too powerful. So, I wouldn’t know too much though

Hear me out. I don't think the lobbies are empty. I think they adjusted what shows nearby. I saw someone in the heartlands, colter, and tumbleweed within 10 minutes. Also went from two to two to six.
