you need to redo the entire thing. you basically restarted the story partway through.

This is an outline of about 5 chapters of story, Or you need to rework the plot. It is not bad English but no way would a " cautious race accept that one enemy shows up then another enemy then the first enemy with a frick'n army then smoke'um peace pipe? No one with a history of being slaughtered and used would forget all that in such a short period (several hours). Also, why would the galactic yadda yadda not just take over the village and call it a day. They are already there "conveniently I might add" so just colonize the world and be done with it.
Another thought, we know nothing of the baddies, are they also the galactic yadda yadda's enemy? Why? This sounds like a Star Trek episode story board. Get rid of the romantic female lead thing make it an alien of another species maybe a reptile or a rock person. The inevitable love triangle is cliche between the two protagonist and the tribe leader. Also, it is always goofy to have no males maybe they get pregnant from a fruit or a worm in the swamp it is that realistic. You only need one breeder male and a shit load of warriors to succeed. Why a female only race?
