So, there is a way around it if you screw up and not turn off the "auto updates" through a jailbreak and updated your ios . Go into restore mode or DFU and hook it up to your computer, Itunes or finder. Then restore it through there. thats another fix as well
Uncover started crashing and all my tweaked apps did too. Even after factory resetting they started crashing again and my jailbreak apps were still in the background. So I can’t rejailbreak.
Go to uncover and have restore Root FS check on. Also go to iPhone storage, and delete any iOS update that's already downloaded. Then turn airplane mode on and restore root FS

How did you fix it? I removed my jailbreak before i tried updating and pretty sure i had disable auto update turned off. Can you explain your process?

@@PeytonnotyeP Yeah had to rejailbreak it with "Auto updates" turned on and then removed the jailbreak with the restore root options.

If its still there, even after you remove and if the update error still keeps coming up, you need to perform this step quite a few times, atleast 4, i did that and its backto normal. all the banking apps are working and cydia gone

i somehow screwed up the settings with unc0ver and ever since i jailbroken and unjailbroken it said unable to check for updates

Guys you don't need a pc if you used unc0ver, just open unc0ver while jailbroken, then open setting and disable disable automatic updates and re jailbreak, then open settings and check for updates then update.

Yeah you gonna have to re download unc0ver then BE SURE TO HAVE DISABLE UPDATES OFF!!! Then just click the jailbreak and boom.

I was on iOS 13.5 then I jailbreak then unjailbreak but I deleted the app uncover and try to update it didn’t show in the settings so I decide to use my computer to update to 14.1. After the 14.2 was out it doesn’t show up the firmware in the settings I restart my iPhone still didn’t work I tried to factory reset couple time it didn’t work.F or now I have to use my computer update kmt😤 this uncover fucked my phone up. I’m still on 14.1 waiting for jailbreak now and plus my banking app keeps on crashing fuck man.

R4NDOM u have to wait till uncover is signed next when it is get uncover then go to uncover now u turn off disable auto updates and rejailbreak this should make updates work and cydia get deletd
