Speaking for me; I was not a huge Muse fan until I heard their music on the Twilight tracks. However, because I heard one song I liked, I investigated Muse in their entirety and I am now a Muse fan all the way around. I agree-if a movie causes a band to get more recognition, who cares how the recognition got there; if true fans like the band they're grateful.
Any band can sound great in 240p because that is the pixel density. Not sound quality. Though I somewhat agree with you as Muse are the best band in the entire world.

Muse is one of the few bands that truly sounds even better when their live. Most bands have some post-production that they need to do like bringing out the vocals or cleaning up the guitar sound, but Muse simply doesn't need anything. They're are definitely one of the most talented bands ever.
