Invest 94L and low-pressure system could develop into a tropical depression over the weekend.

The National Hurricane Center continues to monitor two areas of interest in the Atlantic. The first zone is in the waters of the western Caribbean Sea. This low-pressure system could develop into a tropical depression or tropical storm before reaching Belize, Guatemala, and the Yucatán Peninsula. Heavy rains and flooding are possible in Nicaragua, Honduras, Belize, Quintana Roo, and Guatemala.
On the other hand, in the Antilles, we are watching the evolution of Invest 94L. This disturbance could develop as it moves west-northwest. It will bring rain to the Lesser Antilles, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba, the Bahamas, and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
