    Building a 3.4m with 260 ultra supercharged engine currently. Looking at heading to NZ to see what real jet boating is in March 2023, really looking forward to it. The scenery is unmatched.

    You’re so lucky to live in such a beautiful country where you’re able to do that. Here in Britain we’d end up in prison if the anglers didn’t get to you first.
    Great videos and I’m frankly jealous. Living the life and may it continue. Best wishes from Wales🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

      Thanks, A lot of the jetboaters are fishermen as well. Theirs some issues here, but mostly there's practical rules that allow fair use by everyone

    Paul.. I blame you.. Watching these videos got me to shell out $20k for an 11ft minijet avenger hall w/ 215hp rotax.. I live in Michigan.... It's not the same as your video's! damn people and docks and no wake zones.... still fun... but doesn't live up to the expectations you set.... damn Arse! PS.. awesome video..

      Has Michigan got any good rivers? plenty of water around in lakes. Of course, you could save $20k and sat at home and watched video's of someone else having fun.... not that much joy in that compared to having your own beast! got a couple more video's coming soon. cheers

      @@PaulMcBreen we have ton's of rivers.. just most of them have house's on some stretch so it's "no wake" within 100' of any dock. Bottoms of rivers are more silt than sand. Love my beast "the dirty hooker" just gotta vary the rivers to keep the homeowners from calling the DNR about a crazy man in a river that no one has taken a boat down before..

    Why are all the new zealand boats so small? Is it because you can't tow bigger boats on the roads there? Here in canada boats that are a little bigger with a wider bottom are more popular. They don't go as fast because they are bigger and wider but that helps them stay on plane slow and turn really sharp. Im just wondering because I've never seen a stand up drive boat in and new zealand videos

    • @PaulMcBreen
      @PaulMcBreen  Рік тому +1

      Different and smaller rivers would be the main reason. we spend a lot of time in the tight stuff. Also, Big boats are hard to push when you run aground

      Hi, I just have the Standard Scott jet grill, I usually empty it out after a days boating like this, Never really gotten blocked right up. If your starting in shallow water, or scrapping a bit, turn the motor off and restart in deep water, this gives the stones sucked onto the grill and any sand a chance to fall off/out of the intake. pretty standard thing to do, especially if you've just pulled away from the bank

    nice vid, how did you find the ladder was it made out of baleage pipe or something else? a lot lighter than a magic carpet but do yu reckon it works as good?

    • @PaulMcBreen
      @PaulMcBreen  3 роки тому

      Hi, yes made from the baleage pipe, seemed to work ok, better than nothing. one of them snapped in half. rollers are better I think, but rollers aren't much good when theres only 2 of you. On flat going I think they would work very well. I'll have to get badly stuck one day to really test them LOL
