Aw, Steve, as an old member of ACG (Air Combat Group - Flying mainly in IL2 - Cliffs of Dover), I can tell you, that I love your videos, but you could do so much better sometimes, if you just got closer, before firing. And why do you get into this low energy state behind an enemy instead of conserving ur energy? Stay fast, dont pull back on the throttle to hard, instead climb away, when overshooting, do some high yoyos or just dive away...You do not need this narrow turning stuff in aircarfts like this ;-) I know. Sounds like bad backseat gaming, but i sometimes feel my buttcheeks cramp, when you get infront of enemy planes in these low energy states :-D Still: Nice videos and nice shots in this video :-)
steeve i have tested with 109 crp the smoke tracers of exaaton in cup and modact 6.1 is simply wonderfull just copy and paste in mod folder worked very fine

this version is only fiction! like many other airplanes in this game! there was never a contra prop version! some versions only projects, never build in reality! last version was 109 K-series, and some me-209 versions! best german single (piston-)engined fighter was TA-152, fastest german (piston-engined) fighter was DO-335!

Counterpoint; if you bust them in close, there's a greater chance of being hit by the pieces-parts. Just an observation.

+Survivalist well maybe a Daimler benz DB 605 , same engine of 109 gustav series ... as i remeber ... using the MW 50 it takes about 1775 HP xD
