Manic crying and whimpering through the episode of Zone Jail was funny. I was expecting that version of Rosy and Fleetway Super Sonic to do something to Manic. I'm surprised Manic came out of this in one piece.
Manic running back just to steal that guard’s (or his) money back before making his final escape was HILARIOUS! Yes, I think I like these settings of Manic hanging out with the wrong crowd but still has somewhat of a conscience. It’ what sets him apart from the Sonic Heroes. He can have friends/contacts on both sides of the law and walk that fence (or jump over it if he ever falls over and needs to escape, lol). I think him, Scourge, and Rosie have the best dynamic. Definitely bring those two back for a future video. Manic still being scared can be a running thing, but good character development would be creating a situation where he starts to ease up around them. I predict a heist video with all of them in the future, robbing some evil rich guy.
Great video! I loved Manic’s interaction with all the different characters. Though I think the reaction to Rosie’s advances should have been played off with Manic sarcastically turning her down, or with him trying to use his dashing good looks to make her do things for him, considering Manic likes being lazy. I’m kind of glad Scourge took a liking to Manic right off the bat, probably since they are both green hedgehogs who occasionally wear sunglasses. And their “Too Cool for the Law” attitude shines through. I’m not sure if Manic is putting on an act when he’s calling for his mommy, but it suits this episode if we the audience are meant to think Manic has gotten in over his head. But yeah, I really enjoyed it.
Poor manic at least scourge is sticking up for him since he has been through torture himself in zone jail before so he knows how it feels to be picked on constantly
