@@CatfishMotorsports that was a dumb statement and made no sense. My comment was fact checked accurate and funny and will require acknowledgement from host channel for said funny statement

Great vid. What is with the cheap hydraulic rams now. I have a newish one that is slowly failing.

We are a throw away society. Most people would rather have cheap replaceable goods.
To be fair, mine lasted almost a decade and was stored outside for a lot of that. My bigger issue is, considering they are almost the same price, why isn’t the air capable unit just put on the hoists in the first place.

Most people tear the seats up thinking they need to crank them down and then it's too late. Once you vice grip the valve closed the seat's gone and you're on borrowed time. :(

My old one was leaking from the seal at the top. But yeah I could see cranking down on the valve as a problem.

Well, first of all that hoist is $369 right now with no coupon. $329 with one. So your math is off by about 40% (that’s a lot) And second, what’s your suggestion? That I spend another $329 to buy a new hoist that I would then have to put together?
Or I can do what I did, spend $107, and have a better product that’s more useful with only about 5 minutes of install time.
But hey Bruh, thanks for watching! I appreciate the view and comment!
